I was banned maybe 24 hours at best. It was short. Or maybe it was a few days. I forget. But I took it as a loss, learned from it, and now I am way less toxic than before.
Not saying they are lying by any means. Just hopping from the various threads on the topic and the general consensus on a lot of these matters is still a bit murky.
Well, there is a difference between a ban and a suspension.
I have been suspended over the years, a few times. I have lost Trust Level 3 a few times - but I end up getting it back. With a little extra effort of “reading” tons of posts in a grind.
I imagine an actual ban would be a different story.
I have had Trust lvl 3 in the past two times. Both times I stopped posting for less than a week and lost it. Granted, I never sought lvl 3, it just happened, but it is hilarious that the forums demands so much time in a forum to grant you that and lose it so easily.
Especially when, at least from my perspective, the forums shift your vision of the game with all the complaints.
Using Opera GX now. Have not figured out all the bells and whistles, but have my main tabs set up and logged in. Bookmarks carried over.
It pulled up Task Manager and it is a HUGE difference between Opera and FF. It really does safe a lot of memory, and I can watch kitty streams and browse at the same time. I like the workgroups/tab islands thing too. I can keep the game stuff on one group, and the news/weather/general on the other.
We shall see if this lasts and I use it long term, but so far I really appreciate this suggestion. Reminds me of why I used Opera and FF way back in the old days.
I’m glad you are giving it a shot, and hope it continues to work for you. The side bar customization for me is huge, and love being able to organize everything.
Just get rid of trust levels. Be a normal forum. The trust levels make people psychotic and post hundreds of times a day. Why do we even need in line images?
Yes! So far that has been very helpful. I really don’t like change at all. But I do love organization and control over things so this is likely going to be helpful if I can get the hang of it. I already find the options and settings easier to navigate which is a plus.
Not deleting FF of course, because I know I will need it for some things, just like I have to us Chrome for certain sites. I don’t have to USE those all the time though.
