I mean do you really want to actually discuss “morality” over… video games? Over people just giving opinions over video games?.. Over random strangers on the internet that you will never see again giving their opinions over video games they dislike which happens all the single time? With one of the cards the types of people that used to claimed to be “inclusive”, but never bring themselves to say their actually inclusive to others, love to pull that card out, and instead of stopping the proverbial pendulum, they keep it swinging, because they don’t know that all racism, sexism and so on are bad, which is what we have been taught for all these years, but also been taught (indirectly) to be okay with certain types of racism and sexism, and they don’t realize it’s hypocritical and won’t stop racism/sexism per say, because racism begets racism, same with sexism and any sort of hatred begets hatred, as well violence begets violence? And with somebody who is pro-equality and pro meritocracy no less?

You’re not listening to your own lies. If you’re offended that “it’s my opinion/religion,” is mostly used to defend hateful bigotry and ignorance, then you must be defending something hateful or ignorant. Most people would go… yeap that’s true, and move on.

If you have a meritless opinion of a video game, that’s just it. It’s not “Hateful” to have one of those since everybody at some point as them. I mean you might as well call the entire world hateful by that logic.

Also, i’m pretty sure your comparison or agrument, whatever you may call it, does way more harm then a meritless video game opinion ever would (which does nearly next to nothing) because it cheapens the actual racism, misogyny and homophobia that is happening in the world. I don’t agree with his opinion and i think he should’ve worded it better to talk as if he’s talking about his subjective opinion and not as if it’s objective… i think OP would’ve benefited from reading my thread about FF14…

Ability to and desire to are two very different things.
I didn’t compare OP to racism, i stated you lionizing opinions simply BECAUSE they are stated as opinions is only ever used to defend ignorance and hatred. REAL opinions have SOME basis in fact.

I don’t know why you bother. Anyone who says giving conjecture opinions isn’t ignorant is either a bad troll or not very bright. Either way, waste of your time.
