Well let me explain. (and this is going to be a long comment, little heads up. )
I understand well enough that OP’s opinion is completely meritless to a point of unhelpfulness. He doesn’t go into details of any of his points much and it is indeed conjecture, since he is speaking as if it’s objective. (Again, this is interpreting how OP framed it, i could be wrong) I do agree if he puts his opinion out like so, he should expect criticisms on his feedback.
But i also understand this is OP’s causal take on the game and he isn’t necessarily beholden to what somebody think how OP should go about with his opinion, since this isn’t a review. If this is a review (by OP’s own words and implications, and this is different from first impressions), then sure, he should. I ultimately disagree with OP’s opinion, but i didn’t think it was harmful or irritating enough to warrant such a request. Others felt differently though, and even seeing this thread as if it’s a review, rather then what it is, a casual opinion.
If you knew the whole “You aren’t playing the game” type of comments, they are not practicality helpful to say to anybody, especially since combined with not telling what the fair shake even is, and pedestal the game disliked in question as well blaming the person who disliked it, and you know why i disagreed way more with the other 4 blokes then OP here. I wouldn’t exactly call it a defense if i’m more or less attacking the general idea behind that sort of thinking. (being the aforementioned “You aren’t playing the game”.)
Opinions aren’t reviews necessarily. Yes, all reviews are an opinion, but it doesn’t mean all opinions are reviews. Not to pull up a definition but, here’s what it says for “Review”.
- a formal assessment or examination of something with the possibility or intention of instituting change if necessary.
- a critical appraisal of a book, play, movie, exhibition, etc., published in a newspaper or magazine.
In my words, Reviews imply more then “Oh this just sucks, and that sucks, and this suck and that suck”… It goes into detail why it they like/dislike something, what works, what doesn’t work, as well it has to be followed to the rules in order to be conclusive or even good.
Just out of curiosity, would you even consider anything i’ve said about FF14 a review? Because to tell you the truth, i don’t even consider this a review. 
Not trying to bring my topic into this, but it’s really a weird way of going about opinions… in my opinion. Especially for the likes OP where these sorts of comments are commonplace all over the internet. I don’t think anybody would normally consider a forum post to be a place where reviews take place. Even to the likes of Reddit.
Length isn’t necessarily the big deciding factor on whether a review is meaningful or not, but alright.
I see your point, but this only works if OP said it’s a review or imply it’s a review. It’s just another casual opinion on the internet of the garden variety really. Even my opinion on the game is just that.
Well, it isn’t anybody’s place to tell anybody they need to have a reason in order to post their opinions online…
