Dunno. Seems kind of dumb to run for the portal room to get to Dalaran when I have a portal in my pocket on every character I could possibly want to go there on.

Put the CoT portal into the portal rooms and move the MoP portals back to the shrine.

That would probably satisfy the player base enough.

people keep complaining that they don’t want to have to do the things they’ve done over and over again, so it probably stands to reason that they’ll want the dal hearthstone removed.
…because they’re currently FORCING people to obtain it, and it’s “time gating”.
and it adds to the “time played metric”
…which is a “slap in the face”.

No CoT is by far the worst. Wyrmrest is pretty annoying to have gone too.

We do like options. Blizzard is removing them. Many people are obviously upset.

retaining access to the original pandaren entry portals isn’t a problem.

it’s not hurting anyone.

it makes no sense to remove options.

I wish there was a specific benefit from the portal update other than making me travel across zones that aren’t relevant to what I need to do. If someone wants to make the world “feel” bigger how about instead of impeding on other player’s gameplay, just not use the portals in the first place?

Calling it now. They will remove ground mounts, “because it makes the world feel small”. So to get them back we will have to earn the revamped patherfinder parts 1, 2, AND 3. And then still wait a year before they flip the switch.

It does help them from being laid off, showing a steady MAU is better than showing a sharp decline in subs number, and it help to create the illusion of “We’re doing fine, player spend alot of time in our game, some just left for other reason than the gameplay”.

If you ever work in a real job or use lawyer mindset it will all started to make sense.

They tried to nerf water mounts by having them restricted to an expansion. They are desperate for MAUs.

Why make a portal to Aszuna? It makes no sense at all except a longer trip back to Dalaran.

Only a moron would ask for a portal to Aszuna.
