T-mog roll should just be a yes you get the visual aspect in your collection or you don’t. Should reduce people from stealing items for Tmog and still pushes people going into a raid for a cosmetic reward.

Why are you abusing the need system? if you’re using need when you only want it for transmog that seems super yikes.

No to loot roll changes.
But ONLY because the actual item allows you to upgrade it and get the next appearance up.
To really fix tmog rolling, it would also have to give you a statless copy of the item.
Taking from someone else implies that person has ownership of the item in question. When loot drops it is not yours until you receive it in your inventory from winning a roll.

Because Blizzard continues to allow it. If you are going to hold the peons accountable at least also hold the master accountable as well.

The whole rest of the thread is, “stop abusing the system -I- want to abuse instead!”
And rolling need on a item for xmog is a classless move.
Good thing I don’t run a raiding guild. I’d boot people from the guild for that crap
Blizzard gave me the tools to be this way. Oh well! 
Your disappointment is you problem. I am completely satisfied with the 3 pieces of gear I got for transmog this week! Thanks Blizzard!

I had to settle for all the free gear from world events and delves and bloody tokens and the upcoming vault. :((((( Oh and also like 4 warbound pieces that no one had a chance to deny me rolling on.
But that’s a secret! Don’t tell LFR runners that there are other sources for gear! It’s elitist!

I wonder if they could ever have transmog roll give a cosmetic only version of items.
I need on everything in LFR. It’s either an upgrade, transmog or vendor gold. No downside

No. The system is an issue. The transmog roll is completely useless. If it gave people the appearance, then it wouldn’t be useless.

They do need it. For transmog. You get better ilevel quicker from other content. The system rules allow people to roll need. They will roll need when every other option is useless.

Do you demand that guildies also fork over all loot because you need it more?
Do you take items in LFR with the promise that the person you outrolled will get the next one that drops?
The behavior in LFR is different because the situation is different. Rolling on gear for tmog is not stealing it any more than rolling for upgrade is stealing it. That’s the collection method that exists, and until learning an appearance grants all lower difficulty versions, it’s the ONLY method.
