Transmog Roll should mean something

If they can roll need, then they don’t actually have that item (because if they did, the system wouldn’t let them roll need).

And you can’t 100% for sure say what they have is better.

I’ve been saying this since its implementation. Gear goes to the Need roll, transmog appearance goes to the people who roll transmog.

Because ilevel is a season, transmog is forever and the current transmog roll is useless. So that’s what a lot of people will do.

You get better gear from other content is their reasoning.

And… there’s the usual Dracen Drama.

Yeah. Lots of people.

Totally agree. This was how I thought transmog roll would work. I’ve been rolling transmog ever since it was introduced and never got it. It should be a copy of the piece.

I don’t know what being a bait means, but it sounds exhilarating.

C.O.D me on that gold!

If it was that easy. Blizzard would not have the love relationship with FOMO.

If they did not want you to play the game one more time. They would give you the transmog.

Playing the game more gives you the feeling of FOMO.

So why would you win against the house ?

Bad idea hit that reque and press transmog until no one needs it.

what they need to do is have the transmog roll be a sort of second roll meaning you dont get the actual item but are able to get the appearance. So whoever actually needs the gear hits need and they get a roll and the item and then theres a second roll for whoever clicked transmog then thats a separate roll but they only get the appearance and not the actual item.

If Blizz didn’t want me to they should change their system

Transmog roll is useless. Might as well not exist

It’s a good idea. And yes we need more people saying it.

First response in and they didn’t read anything.

Don’t hate the player, hate the system.

Would be nice if it worked this way.

Oh I read that alright but the system works for details that are “in-between the lines” for a reason. So you can roll Need on a drop even though you have better item level for it but still need the increase in certain attributes.

You can’t blame the system for accounting for this, so who else is there then to be blamed?

Why not both Blizzard and the players? Is blame exclusive to one entity? Open your mind! Stop defending multi-billion dollar companies. They won’t give you free game time for it I promise! :joy: :joy: :joy:

You really threw yourself into a wall of playing a pretend argument with someone.

I’ve nothing to say with anyone who needs that many emojis to relay a message thinking it warrants a response. Constructive communication isn’t what you’re looking for.

All you done is just show how much of a problem YOU are. You’re the issue not the system. Trying to blame others for needing cause they got better is sad when you’re worst then they are cause you try to make excuses for being a jerk.

I knew you wouldn’t answer the question :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thank you for your input! It was super valuable!

I am not making excuses. Look up the definition. I am owning what I am doing, because I am using the systems in place.

Thanks and I hope you continue to contribute to the thread

If I want it, I’m rolling Need. The transmog choice may as well be another pass.

So my initial thought is that the OP is a jerk for needing a piece for transmog, but after reading through the thread I can kinda see where they’re coming from.

If I’m participating in a raid, pulling my own weight, and my singular purpose is to gain a transmog appearance from that raid, is it really irrational to need that piece? Especially if it locks me out for a week? Is the reality that I won’t get that piece until enough of the population has geared themselves and their alts enough that no one will roll need on it? To the point where even people’s alts have precedence over it? Sorry but no.

Well I’ve never done such a thing yet, but if I really wanted an appearance from a certain raid, did my part, I feel like I should get a say on whether or not that appearance means enough for me to consider rolling need, and that forcing me to wait possibly months before getting it is kinda absurd.

Sounds great to me.

End of story. LFR is current t-mog run. I agree.
