Okay, but still, it costs money.
I didnât claim any else, fact is this is a shallow attempt on player retention and a lazy one too.
Trading posts doesnât cost extra, but adds next to nothing for your subscription fee + store items x% of people still playing.
Hell of a premium to pay, for such little reward, especially a game you play for fun. Slap on a reward system that changes once a month, oh boy canât wait to do more content I loathe for a few extra coins!!
I hope me buying into this garbage makes the investors happy, since my 15 a month clearly doesnât.
I like the trading post. But I am not really super happy about the one month rotation. To me thatâs a little too slow. Would be much happier with 2 week rotations. On months like this one where I donât want anything listed, itâs a big buzz kill to have to wait so long to see whatâs next.
I get that it canât be too fast because if someoneâs away on work trips or life gets in the way thatâs a bust too, but one month just seems a little excessive.

I like that theyâre embracing transmog as the true endgame. Trading post is a 10/10 for me while itâs not monetized.

How about you go make a game that you want to play and play it. Negative feedback loop from people like you is why people avoid this game.
If this game bothers you so much just go lurk metacritic with the other trolls who donât bother playing a product before reviewing it.

One month rotation is for those who will unsub after first disappointment on rewards offered, I honestly donât think they will invest too much time in unique items for the TP. Soon it will be mostly crap people already ignore in the BMAH.
Then a forgotten relic by that instance no one has to walk to because lobby game. 5 years from now someone will go over there, have to use THOTBOT to see how to get Sparkle pony and be disappointed the system was tossed at the end of DF.
Go scrape the cheese.
Trading post is extra rewards for doing the normal content. You dont have to go out of your way or even try to get new mogs/mounts via TP.
You pay to play the game activities. BGS, arena, dungeons, world, world pvp, raids, M+, ectâŠTrading post is something with extra rewards for just playing.
Iâm optimistic. They datamined a blood troll set supposedly for the TP. Thatâs all Iâm here for really. Just sucks it could be MONTHS before it comes up on offer.
Datamined stuff looks pretty promising actually, but with the rate of updates for it, it feels more like a carrot held over peopleâs heads who are thinking about unsubbing than anything else.

I will never cease to be amazed at how Blizz can put something in for fun that rewards us for playing the game more or less how we want to and people can still be mad about it.

Ohhhh thats right, adds NOTHING.
but you can do old content, for some of thee worst looking skins in the game and the a mount that looks older than it is.
Zero content, items that could be in new content, but whatever.
