A lot of people paid cash for the celestial mount, that’s a slap in the face for sure. The least they could have done was give it a recolor.

I don’t do the pet thing, I don’t even know how I got so many honestly.
I have that mount, never use it though.

Are people are like conditioned to find spending more money socially acceptable here and think it’s free (even though it’s objectively not), then find actual video game features that meant there for fun, not, and not free (even though it’s objectively is)?..

Yeah… this is just screaming “add trading post tender - 2000 for $20” or “add premium tendies - 500 for $50 for exclusive mogs and mounts”
Basically, they are moving the cash shop to an in game feature and will add the more desired items for a far greater price either forcing you to buy currency or commit to very lengthy subs.

TP isn’t content, just a reward, you don’t play the TP, fact is you don’t even have to do the content, your, or someone else’s money will buy you 500 tokens a month.
Amazing content.
Unfortunately my job is call based, I could have to leave for a few days, or an hour. Either way hard to raid with unexpected absences all the time.
I would love to mythic raid again, but alas… I am stuck doing casual stuff and it is terribly boring.

You’re way too nitpicky over the word free in this context here. I didn’t have pay a dime to get these new features. That’s how updates work. Ya’ just get them.
I mean if you want to be wrong, go nuts. TP gives you mini-meta challenges that gives you points to buy the rewards. I don’t see what’s the problem here.

Yes, it is actually pretty amazing. In my opinion, it’s one of the best content that Dragonflight provided so far (that and Talent Trees). Especially since it’s a nice solution to the problem at launch where the World Quests reset weekly. It’s the kind of content that encourages variety in game, and even go in old world, and such. 
It’s small, but it’s rewarding.

i lucked out. the guild i’m in is super casual. we run mythic+ every so often.

The best part is waiting another month just to get a handful more options. People think they’ll miss something if they don’t stay subbed each month, classic blizzard fomo.

The other things about the Trading post that I actually appreciate are that it has a cap (so there isn’t a huge rush to do everything) and that it goes across your account so it’s super friendly to people who like to play multiple alts.

Its the bloody first month of wares they put out, Good God…grow up or don’t worry about it …its not effecting your game play one bit…damn some of you are never happy with anything now…you sound like one of those that want everything handed to them on a silver platter and not work for it…
