my concern isn’t so much what type of transmogs there are - I love the more high fantasy/light hearted/cutsey themed transmogs like butterflies, dresses, flower themes, etc…
but it’s the bloat that surrounds them. With each new color scheme they release, they kind of make them feel less unique, because I think they feel too similar.
I think having multiple color combos of the same set are important, but some of these color schemes just feel too redundant…like the silvery butterfly set looks a lot like the violet one, and there’s multiple examples stretching even to mounts. That’s my biggest gripe with the trading post.
I’d like to see more dramatic colors used in some of these re-released sets, so that the flavor is still there.
As a collector myself, I feel like with leather, there aren’t a lot of black/purple themed pieces, but there’s so many greys/yellows and greens…

Just to name a few, meanwhile the 3 from 2023 you mention are the only ones that stand out.
That’s 2 trading posts in a row I refuse to buy anything, just pure rubbish. I flatly refuse buy a butterfly mount for my guys…NEVER…or anything butterfly related.
Just login to the game and look around at how many people use the butterfly/magical girl/etc outfits.
There is your answer.
The majority want them, like them, and use them. You’re in the minority.
The irony of saying this while asking for more diversity in transmog items and equity towards your own personal tastes lol. You don’t even know what those words mean.
Ive been waiting for girly stuff for years, If you want manly stuff youve got literally the entire rest of the game, not everything has to be what you want, some parts of the game can appease other players ya know

but anyway, quite literally 100pct of all dropped transmog meets the criteria you are looking for, and exactly 0pct of it meets the criteria for stuff you dont like. i have personally completely stayed away from transmog in this game the entire time i played it almost, until they came out with the outfit you see that i have on now that came from the trading post last year. there are FINALLY items that make me care about a portion of the game i never did before.
i have a challenge for you, and hopefully i also dont get a vacation out of it. have you ever considered that it is possible that you want to look like a caveman/warrior/meathead, whatever you wanna call it, due to some level of insecurity with something? i know that i am COMPLETELY secure, so the last thing i want to look at in this game is some beefy warrior or something.
Lunacy? Nah it’s simpler than that. It’s human nature, and what a friend of mine once called the Brainy Smurf effect. To wax 1980s cartoon wisdom, Brainy Smurf. He lectures and down talks to his fellow Smurfs over the course of an entire episode of Smurfs, often involving name calling, insults and so on.
At the end of the episode, he usually attempts to take credit for the Smurf’s big ‘win’ and go on and on about how superior he is intellectually. The Smurfs are ultimately so fed up with his theatrics, over the top rhetoric, and posturing, that the final scene usually involves someone throwing him out of the village, whereupon he lands on his head and says something to the effect of… “What’d I say?”

ur complaining about ppls preferences and then complaining about being called on it. broski, if u want want armor that’s “uber masculine” or whatever go look basically anywhere other than the trading post. there’s a reason I like so few of the armor sets in the game. I’ve wanted plate bikini for my dudes since I started playing in tbc. now I can stick my dudes in pretty and revealing clothes.
go grind mogs in other content and let other ppl enjoy the trading post. I like putting my ladies in less revealing stuff and my dudes in frilly ““girly”” things and I have not been able to do that to my satisfaction without the trading post.
the armor u want exists. u don’t even need to spend tender on it. go get ur gearsets.
