As long as we ignore 98% of the armor mogs in the game…
OP is right.

Red Cat-Bear, Funny, Boba Bubble Tea, Anime, Japanese Kawaii thing LOL
lol I said this today too. Can we at least get something black maybe?
As a girly girl, I’m loving the pretty stuff.
I do disagree that most or even 50% of stuff is girly though, that is a far reach.
Women play too.
I’m really excited about the butterfly stuff, especially the bow and warglaives!
Exactly my thoughts.
Purple was royal since artificial purple dye hadn’t been invented and the method of making it before that was by crushing snail shells from a certain region or something like that. Only the wealthy could afford it.
Not saying you are wrong, just throwing out that info for anyone curious why it has been for millennia associated with regality.
You are 1000% black and red.
Most paladins simply identify as pink.
Oh no, is someone holding a gun to OP’s head to get these items? Someone please help them!
Because the only way to ship such exotic valuables was by boat which took months at that time and cost quite a bit. Since ye olden times, there’s money to be made in shipping.
Good example: look how much wealth, and influence, Jayce Talis (Arcane) acquired when his Hextech gates expedited shipping of goods.
Just don’t buy or use the girly items? There’s a ton of stuff on the trading post I ignore. You don’t need to use it. I have so many random mogs in my collection I will never use. And there are so many “manly” appearances on the post and in the game
The vast majority of mogs that you earn in the game itself are the “serious” ones that you want. It makes sense to have the the trading post for the fun and pretty ones.
It’s not about him being forced to pick something. it’s about rarely having option to pick something he likes.
So where does that leave players who have trading post currency that aren’t into the fun and pretty ones? are they meant to be left out?
There are far more things to buy than we obtain currency to buy it with. If OP is seriously saying that there is NEVER anything that appeals to him, then he’s too picky and that’s on him. You can’t even buy all of the mounts and pets every month with the amount we earn FFS.
Not everything is on the trading post is fun and pretty. I would say the majority of it still isn’t. It’s just that it’s disproportionate there because it makes more sense than in game.
There have been several months where it was easy for me to save because there was nothing that I liked. A few months catering to players like me that like flowers and butterflies isn’t going to hurt you. Grow up and learn not everything is supposed to be for you, and that’s OK.
Seems like you’re arguing against a point that wasn’t really made. OP wasn’t saying ‘remove all the fun and pretty stuff,’ just that the balance feels off. Wanting a mix of styles isn’t the same as demanding everything cater to one group.
Fair variety keeps everyone happy, right?
There’s a ton of other mogs on the trading post though with a bunch of different themes. Even the trading post outlet has variety (jester outfit, blood troll, etc) it’s just silly to say there are ONLY girly options available on the TP. If anything it’s the only place in the game this style of cutesy stuff is available for players who like it
It’s not relevant to OPs point and only invites comments like yours which often derail things, exactly proving why it’s best to leave it out. Y’all are like flies to sh*t.
Meanwhile the OP is mogged up like Sparkles on Disco Saturday night down at the RollerCraze.

People have short memories. Like look:
https://warcraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Trading_Post_history
People have said we haven’t had “manly” stuff for months. When we had those steampunk gear(I think its pretty manly or at least fairly gender neutral looking). We got some Valajar stuff in December and in November we had that Scarecrow transmog.
Like, you can even look, the girly stuff is CONSIDERABLY LESS then the more gender neutral/more “manly” stuff added to the Trading Post over the years.
These guys are just too afraid of mogging a pair of butterfly wings… like they will instantly be compelled to run down to the Blue Oyster in real life.
