Traders Tender - Not enough Tender?

Nope! WoW’s is kind of a mix of Old Republic’s login rewards and their galactic seasons.

Sub only games don’t need a daily login reward system, only a monthly one. And the tasks are a bit similar to galactic seasons in that you do stuff to complete the bar for that “season,” but WoW’s is much simpler, because it’s only a month long and then it changes. The currency style rewards to rotate in and out just makes it easier to do monthly, because they don’t have to create much new stuff. It can all be recycled.

This. I notice they still track when you continue to do eligible activities even after you’ve completed the log and gotten your reward for the month. Why track it once done unless you’re going to use it as a way to earn additional currency? In my opinion awarding tenders above the initial completion (even if, like you said, a greatly reduced amount) would incentivize people playing the game more and would be a good thing (since Blizzard wants people to play longer).

You need to max out the Earned Tender and get the reward before you get the extra tender.

Let’s not spread misinformation.

Finally saw that movie last weekend, oh Lawd.

I still need to watch it. But my head cold from hell is keeping me from comprehending anything like that right now. lol

You can buy 1000 tendies from the shop right now for $90.

They comes with a free copy of the new expansion, a character boost and some other useless junk though. Can prolly just delete all that crap, except for the free lvl 70 boost.

So 1 million tendies is only like $90k USD.

There we go. I was actually surprised more people didn’t connect the dots / haven’t mentioned this. lol

Kinda funny how they kept flirting with the idea of selling tender until the pre-order came out, huh? Notice how there’s no $5 or $20 tender catch-up this month?

I have a feeling there won’t be until they feel the pre-purchase has sold all it’s going to. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s actually a good deal with all the stuff you get.
I’ll get 2 once regular flying is easy to get in TWW.
One for each account.

Not sure, but hoping I’ll get the 1000 for both.
I should.
but both licenses are going on the same bnet.

Once per Bnet account. You only get the Tender once.

Trader’s Tender is granted only once per Battle.net® account and region upon first purchase of each edition, at a maximum of 1000 Tender from Epic.

Not sure what you mean. Dragonflight came with 500 Tender. This is increments: 500, 750, 1000. Which they said they were going to do again.

I dunno, if you’re not so hard up for collecting everything a guildy of mine has 12k

I got over 6000 tenders because most of the stuff i don’t want .

If you don’t have enough to buy everythng coming up in February you messed up.

Yeah, but it’d look less sus if the tender store wasn’t flooded atm. And, ya know, how they also lowered the amount you can get each month back in … October? November?

I do apologize if it sounds nuts. I am 100% aware I have a brain that loves spotting scams. It serves me well IRL and has saved me tons, but sometimes I get a little too carried away.

So yeah, I fully admit I may be reading too much into things. But I just smell a slight bit of sneaky-ness on Blizz’s part. (Especially after we called that they’d sell tender in the cash shop, and they did. lol That one wasn’t hard to spot, though.)

You do realize if they give you more ways to earn tender that will lessen the value of it and they will just inflate what the cost of items are right?

The game is not meant to give you everything incredibly fast and they want you to choose over time what IS important and get those.

Don’t say that. The Hearthstone-animation attached to the most expensive edition is perfect for Shamans! And the Gryphon is great for low level transmog fans of Dwarves, too! It’s just too bad that the weapons are part of the Trading Post.

They gave us two months of bonus Tender. Then it dropped back to what it was previously. It was a promotion.

They said Tender would go into bundles, which it did. Tender has never been on the cash shop by itself to purchase infinitely. Every bundle is once per account.

Selling Tender on the shop infinitely is counterintuitive to the system. They don’t make more money. They lose out on the monthly sub logins and have to spend time making new things to put onto the Post. It doesn’t make sense.

THIS. I don’t understand why once we’ve reached the 1000 cap for the monthly prize, we’re just…stuck? Why bother to track our other completed point-worthy activities if you’re not going to actually let us use them?

I’m fine with the 1000 minimum for a monthly reward. But for people who like to farm and quest, why not let us continue to earn? The prizes are cosmetic, not tied to game power, so where is the harm in allowing us to farm more if we want like every other currency in game?
