Interesting, i had no idea. The stuff just kept piling up. But there was little i wanted to buy 'til this week. 
I see someone skipped on the wands we’ll never get to use.

This is still an issue months later. WTF is Blizzard doing. The newest batch of items is over 3700 for the 2 mounts, 5 weapons sets (goes with the TWW transmog set) and minion.
I was still holding onto the fish from last month for 800, but then when I saw this month, I was greatly disappointed. An endcap back transmog that might be worth 250, but for sale are two new 600 mounts. With this months total added to last months remaining amount, I had 1350. Guess what you can’t afford for 1350. Three mounts. So, I decided that the mounts weren’t that important, and went for the pet, some scarves/hoods/capes. I think I’m still at 650, but I don’t want either one of the faction mounts without the other, so here we are. I also assumed they would go on the shop at some point, or return next year when I also don’t have enough tenders for them.
There are also plenty of items that I don’t really want, but it’s disheartening when the stuff I do want (generally pets, mounts, sometimes a weapon… and scarves lately. I just wish you could wear other head slot items with the scarves, since they are more of a neck item.) is out of reach.

That’s fair for some people, but I get my dopamine hits from collecting or completing things. These decisions are making me feel worse about the Trading Post in general. Remix was the optimal playground for me. I had fun collecting the things, and now I can appreciate all of the cool stuff that I can use on my army of alts.

I had over 5k but this month hit me hard. Both mounts PLUS the fish from July and a couple mogs left me with just over 2k. Which probably means September will have a metric butt-ton of new shinier. 
This is an old thread so im about 10k start of this month.
But i got nailed for the two mounts and the sword mogs myself. Rest is eh
