Toxic players in retail are going to get a life lesson in classic

…and that they didn’t procreate little mini’s of themselves in the meantime…and decide to bring them in as well…

I think Toxic is used more to describe destructive behavior. General rudeness shouldn’t be confused with people harassing others and degenerative language.

My guilds entire reason for existing is to cause chaos

When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.
Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

This video demonstrates why being a troll embodies the philosophy of Vanilla

Toxic players/Toxicity will always be present in online games

You can’t get avoid it entirely.

Get thicker skin, or ignore.

Ew gross don’t grow thicker skin, exfoliating is really important to your skin’s health and makes it super soft and nice. Clean those dead skin cells off!

Right? I’ll take soft, delicate exfoliated skin any day of the week! Thick skin is for bridge trolls and hunchbacks. Also, don’t forget to hydrate!!!

You are so stupid. Yes the banks were controlled by the GM and if they stole what was in it they were ninjaed. Just because it wasn’t labelled guild bank didnt mean they didnt exist thats why they were tied to the GM. Your dumb azz wasnt in a guild big enough to experience this so just move along.

I was in the top alliance guild and then switched my main to horde and was in the top horde guild on the same server in vanilla. Both of them had complete azzholes in our guild and on the horde side they were the raid leads. If you think for one minute vanilla was pristine and didn’t tolerate azzholes to raid then you played on an rp server and were stuck on welps in Onyxia.

Yes I know they didnt have any cross realm content or bigs or lfg or any of that, that was exactly my point the reason why people thought they werent being in contact with toxic players and the game became waaay more toxic was because of these things being implemented facilitated more contact. Anonymity also helped with people just not caring if you saw this side of them.

Again thanks for spending time analyzing a post and getting it completely wrong. More dots, more dots…

Um, did you mean to quote yourself and call yourself stupid?

The quote got messed up I fixed it lmao I was like where are his comments at doh.

And I’m the stupid one??? ROFLMAO ok

Not very often you see people quoting themselves.

You weren’t very clear in the wording of your original comment and specifically said “guild banks” which inferred the existence of something that was not in the game at the time. How does that translate to me being stupid?? Anyone else with half a brain would come to the same conclusion. And the words cross server/queueing again implies features that weren’t added to the game until later, so if you were talking about BGs/PvP then maybe you should have led with that to begin with instead of misleading everyone who reads your comments with misinformation. Seems to me that you are the exact kind of person most of us wish to avoid since you have stooped to name calling when I did not personally attack you in any way shape or form other than to doubt the legitimacy that you played during vanilla.

You mention features that were in the game POST vanilla, and in the same breath specifically mention vanilla. This is where CONTEXT is very important when formulating your thoughts into a cohesive and easily read post to limit confusion

Again you are talking about events POST vanilla. You can’t just flip back and forth without usage of past or future tense. Again this is a context issue…But I’m stupid according to you. ROFL thanks for the laugh :joy::joy::joy:

The absolute worst experiences I ever had with other players was back in Vanilla and BC. This fantasy about the great and wonderful Classic Community™ is some of the most rose-tinted crap I’ve ever read on this forum.

Because they were called guild banks. Anyone in a large guild in vanilla that saw that reference and a GM ninjaing it would know exactly what I was talking about. You didnt but took it upon yourself to point out something obvious and completely un related.

Again if you didnt get the original point it was broken down again not doing it. New features caused this problem to be exposed didnt create the original problem.

You can avoid me all you like. I do think you are stupid. I am going to be Montee on Myzrael, be sure to hit ignore upon log in.

No need because you won’t even be on my server. I’ll never even see you outside of BGs. With any luck, you won’t even be on my faction

Then take your stupid behind on? lol I mean what more is there to say here. You didn’t even talk about the topic at hand which was were there toxic players in vanilla? You got hung up on proving some irrelevant incorrect point. Again… stupid. Dismissed.

On the contrary, you have shown your true colors by being toxic to me when I did nothing to warrant it. So in essence, we are still on topic of toxic players, since you have outed yourself as one

No I am not toxic, I am slightly bytchy, honest and direct to the point. But carry on your rose tinted glasses are waiting for you near the welps.

Those toxic players will be members of the realms top progression guild, same as 15 years ago.
