I am not looking for a challenge in there. Fun in Torghast is fast ARPG smash and grab if anything you should of buffed everyone so they could speed through it. But…NO you had to make it harder for solo players and nerf the enhancements.
I don’t want to spend more time in there. It isn’t supposed to be even more annoying then it already is. I just Alt F4 gonna call it a day. So frustrated I have to painfully slow down even more in there wasting my time.
If you want me to enjoy Torghast let me blow through it 1 shotting everything so I can get my soul ash for the week and be done. Then spend time in the game doing something fun.
Y’all really don’t get we don’t like forced content do you? Then you double down and say here ya go lets make it harder! The Devs are totally lost on what the players want or what is considered fun.
What bothers me is both the major nerf to solo play and the ATTITUDE behind it. It"s like we have returned to the “abuse the solo player” of legion times.
If this is the way of things, there isn’t much left.
Torghast is so awful it takes ages to get a group going and then you aren’t even guaranteed to complete it. Seems like a complete waste of time to me but its the only way to get soul ash. I think I’ll just stop at a single legendary the whole xpac, screw this piece of trash.

The basic game design behind torgast is:
“We give you a rusty spoon, you see if you can remove all your finger and toenails with it without passing out! If you pass out 5 times we kick you out of the building and you get nothing… BUT if you do get all of your nails off we will give you a tootsie roll!”
Just had an “empowered imperial consular” 2shot my pet constantly and deal 17k per cast that it spams.

I’d be careful, I got forum vacationed once for saying ,to nobody in particular, that I was glad the forum had a way to permanently ignore someone so I could finally permanently ignore everyone with [Insert nondescript text color here] The people with [nondescript text color] have alot of their ego wrapped up in the [non descript text color] of their posts and will baby rage at blizz to get you vacationed.
They’d be doing me a favor if they did that. I’m already unsubbed, I just come here because it’s like a thunder dome of arguments and bad opinions. I just can’t look away, it’s a drug I can’t quit.
good thing they put the majority of the soul ash on the lower levels. do that and leave the hard stuff for those who actually enjoy challenge. stop crying because others can do things you can’t.
I just tried doing a level 3. The casters at the end were ridiculous and I could not get past the one on level 5. Pretty sure the boss would have been easier.
Basically, I have to start a level and see if I get one of the great defensive powers; if I don’t, i shouldn’t continue. There are certainly no great offensive powers on rogue.
You don’t have to get toxic because we have different opinions, i’m simply saying that Torghast is fine. The difficulty isn’t that much higher than last week, and a lot of people seem to be enjoying it.
I’m looking forward to layer 8 with the increased difficulty for tanks. It was a snooze fest in there with no boss living longer than 10 seconds for the first 6 layers. Hopefully it will be hard!
