You can make some pretty safe assumptions by simply splitting up the current available levels, and then associating each with an ilvl range. Level 1 is for entry level, Max current available is for folks starting to earn heroic raid gear, and mid range (4?) is probably for folks decked in M+0 gear.
My problem with it…there’s really nothing for the trying. Spend an hour or two working your way up. You fail. It’s fine. But have what to show for the time spent?
Toss some stygia in the mix…or something. Make me want to go. An extra 40 ash? Nah.
To me, they’ve made the wings what Twisting Corridors was supposed to be.
Yeah if the anima powers weren’t so rng. One run I was destroying everything, next run I was the bane if mawrats. Literally nothing but mawrat powers…
Point is, rng sucks.
Why do you continue to do this?
Makes me wonder what the point of beta feedback is then.
“Oh don’t worry guys we hear your concerns and will address them… eventually.”
I attempted 7’on upper and got massacred. Barely made 7 on lower. I got lucky.
Well, may as well not even have the option for player feedback then.

I remember when they tried to tell us we don’t know what we want. Pretty sure the entire community went up in arms over it. He does not know what’s best.
7 and 8 listed as mythic or just be good
Of course every article is going to praise them. They want that sweet sweet ad revenue of players like you that defend them at every turn. Going by this post so far nearly every player disagrees with this change. If they did pay so close attention to player feedback they would know these changes would have not been welcome. The unpopular assassians still existing should be your first clue they only care about what they want. Not the player.
It’s been out for three weeks. What’s this “today” nonsense?
Oh, yeah, forgot. PR shill cut-and-pasting from a script.
And this week’s award for most inexplicable instance of the over-used buzz-word “curate” goes to…
…actually, hold that thought. I’m hungry, so I’m going to go into the kitchen and curate my lunch.
Yeah, Torghast is way overtuned. I was looking forward to doing it tonight. It’s one of the features I found a lot of fun about the expac. And now it’s just a chore to do.
I did both halls last week up to six and I jumped into 7 tonight - forget that. How frustrating - the last boss was impossible for me. My last power choices by the way for the boss was if something dies my dots jump to the next target (useless in my situation) and that my next anima power choice will have an epic option, also useless since it was my last one.
Just finished layer 8 and Jesus
My pet just gets destroyed, I can’t even kill the bosses before they enrage unless I power lotto
And don’t even get an achievement
You finished 8? That’s awesome - I could not get past the final boss on 7 in the upper reaches. I didn’t bother to try the other one - I might on the weekend but pfft burnt out now.
I did 7 so far. And no way in hell I’m ready for 8. I barely lived lol. The mobs are the scary one. I can cheese the boss
Heroic and Mythic as in dungeon gear level (171 and 184 respectively) or raid gear level (200-207 and 213-220 respectively)?
There is a big difference.
Yeah all for 50 soul ash hahaha
Adjusting the difficulty AFTER release so that people can’t do something they could the week before is an extremely terrible choice in any game.
Torghast was clearly not finished or ready for release given significant changes this week and the number of anima powers that went live in a buggy or broken state.
Here here, I agree fully! I call foul on these shenanigans by the corporation (and a lot of people weren’t blowing through them either last week I might add).
