The only thing that is quite clear is your false assumption. What success are you achieving in Torghast? Big achievement? Some…reward?
You want a challenge?..go to Twisting Corridors. Isn’t that what Twisting Corridors is for? Nothing challenging about the wings. These changes…don’t make them challenging. Just makes boring take longer. As far as the wings go, yeah, what’s wrong with a little facerolling fun once a week? You don’t keep those powers. They’re contained within. Nobody is advocating that they leave the confines. A weekly time sink that offers some different. You’re advocating for it to be the same as content you can get everywhere else.
It sounds like you don’t enjoy playing WoW.
More false assumption. Now you’re just trolling.
Neat, I’ll do my 2 levels today to finish my legendary and never step in the brain dead time trap again. Thank you Blizzard for making me make up my mind so easily. Also fire your development team because they are obviously idiots starting with Ian.
i dontl like that change on top of the general hp/dmg buff they gave. they should have bumped hp and nerfed dmg from mobs for dps classes
Think ill follow your lead, I just hate when we get “content” shoved up on our butts, I hate thorgast find it real boring, If ppl like it I am happy but I don’t wanna be forced to take part it in, if there was other means to get legendary power currency I would never ever set foot on that place.
why not? it can certainly be soloed
How is that false? You balk at the idea of actually playing the game, preferring it to be a complete faceroll instead.
Where have i mischaracterized your preferences?
Slogging isn’t hardcore, it’s boring mindless grinding. Banging on the same mobs while they do the same mechanics over and over isn’t hardcore, just so you know. But you are one of those “Packing sand isn’t boring, it’s my BiS!” types so /s “Hardcore On!”
Mob casts damage buff

Channels 9 second frontal
God really is the highest level of skill required.
Why Blizzard? Why?! I really like doing Torghast alone.
can i just say, i love that tanks and heals get a sphere of the game where they can happily solo and blast through it. In fact, more solo content should be built around tanks and heals just blowing through it. Sure, give them a GIGANTIC debuff in pvp if you like, but for pure solo content (and as a tbc resto shammy), they deserve some content in the solo game thats an absolute breeze. I feel that in the bottom of my heart. Perhaps then we might have more tanks and healers.
Oh I run hardcore in other games (Grim Dawn being my personal favorite). Self imposed challenge of course. Push SR to as high as I can go with the risk of perma death. You die, it’s over. Loot and all goes bye bye. WoW really isn’t that challenging. You die, there is very little penalty.
It’s all relative really. WoW puts on a good facade of challenge, but really there is no penalty for failure.
If they introduced some really painful challenging mechanic to Torghast but upped the rewards, all for it.
But to me, it’s kind of boring as is. Again, simply my opinion. Not saying I am ‘right’.
If people wanted to play a rogue like they’d go buy one. If they added a FPS mode that was mandatory to wow I wouldn’t like that either, though I like those games myself, it’s not what I’m looking for when I play wow.
If people wanted to raid they go buy an action game.
If people wanted to PvP they go buy a FPS.
If people wanted to play pet battles they could go buy pokemon.
If people wanted to solo quest they would go buy a single player RPG.
If people wanted to…
In case you haven’t noticed, WoW is a Theme Park game with a little bit of something for everyone. There are lots of ways that you can create different types of game play for the core game mechanic - the Action Game inherent to your character’s design.
Why do you need to be rewarded for playing a game like you’re some kind of puppy dog doing tricks?
Ruff ruff.
Disagree, raiding is pretty core to wow.
I do this myself.
I know nothing about either but I’d imagine that’s make sense.
Questing, solo or otherwise I’d also say is pretty core to wow, though solo is obviously a better experience elsewhere.
That’s fine when things aren’t mandatory. Pvp and let battles can be completely ignored and non of the story or core features are impacted. Tying the most powerful item anyone can get the whole expansion to Torghast is what makes it a problem.
Torghast isn’t mandatory.
Disingenuous and you know it.
I wont lie, I didn’t even do Torghast this week. I probably won’t be doing it much at all. If i wanted to spend and hour slogging through a rogue like, well I would play one of those games. Then they buffed Torghast even more to make it even slower. Yeah I was all about this expansion at first. But its clear they have done nothing but try to slow us down from the start. Sorry but I don’t think i will be around much longer. When everything is locked behind a wall you can’t break down until they say its ok… yeah no… Blizz of old is dead. The idiots running the show right now have no clue.
