Can’t speak for all but doing a layer as blood was way easier than as frost or unholy. Just saying.
Oh hey they actually made the game more interesting to play for healers and tanks and didn’t just nerf everything because of the whiners.
Good job Blizzard. Maybe you have finally learned how to take feedback and make the appropriate call.
Not for paladin…all were nerfed
LOL.
This yet again confirms to me that 1.) I made the right decision not to buy the expansion, and 2.) the “community” is a bunch of self-important neckbeards with no people skills.
Well, let’s see how it will be to solo layer 6 this week
Yeah if you don’t enjoy playing video games, this probably wasn’t the expansion for you.
How odd you’ve decided that based on the fact that I don’t like being the target of control freaks that I “don’t enjoy videogames”. You have convinced me even more that they community is going to hell in a handbasket and this is what you are working to have happen. Working hard at, too.
Bring it nabs, it punch all of them in da face
Quickly losing interest in Torghast.
When presented, I expected it to be something you did at your own pace. Something that, at the end you were so ridiculously over powered it was…fun. Then exist back to “the real world”.
Somewhere along the line, there was the insistence that it should be challenging. I thought that’s what Twisting Corridor was for?
Hand out a few anima per floor only to increase the health of mobs 5% next floor? Was supposedly something that wasn’t timed, go at your own pace. Except for mobs designed to spawn on you when you run to grab a beverage…etc.
The changes…just make it take even longer. Targeting solo players? Activities are already easier for groups that statement is just…huh?
Riding a good wave with Shadowlands, but on a personal level, Torghast is a big miss. I find it neither fun or engaging. It’s not hard…or a challenge…it’s just tedious. The change just makes it more so.
I have no clue what you are talking about.
Torghast is just another way to play WoW that was inspired by Rogue Like games. As someone who enjoys Rogue Likes it does a pretty good job of doing that in my opinion. Torghast has been a fun experience for myself and many other players.
Like many of the players who constantly complain about playing the game, perhaps you just don’t like playing video games. Not sure what else to tell you.
Case in point:
I feel like this when i go there
I made a post about some of this stuff, but I’m just not going to do it. No Torghast grind for me. I dumped tailoring and enchanting because they are Torghast dependent. If the rest of the game becomes Torghast dependent, I won’t be playing WoW any longer and move on with my life.
- edit * ‘No’, not ‘Not’.
I knew this was coming, going in as resto felt like cheating. Layer 6 bosses were dying in 20s to me in a healing spec and the regular mobs could barely out dps my riptide.
Way to cherry pick.
Cool, so we went from standing in line at the DMV type of fun. To standing in line at the DMV even longer type fun.
It’s quite clear that your idea of “playing video games” is feeling Overpowered to the point where there is no actual game play anymore and you are just facerolling your keyboard to achieve success.
From where I’m from, that’s not how we play video games. We actually enjoy challenges and feel let down when game’s don’t actually provide them.
That’s the current state of WoW.
However, Torghast is sort of a dull feature. Not so much with the intent, but the implementation.
I like rogue likes. I like being tested. I like being rewarded for the test though. You play other games? I’m a huge fan of ARPG’s. Grim Dawn does rogue likes right: challenging until you are geared but also rewarding for said challenge. Rather than a week cap, no loot, and silly slog of a time.
They could make Torghast a blast. In it’s current state, however, it’s really just a slog w/ very little creativity.
Even the labyrinth in PoE is more fun (and I hate that thing…).
Would rather get more creative with Torghast than simply buff/nerf what’s there already. It could be great. Right now, from where I sit, it’s just a slog w/ very little incentive to play (other than of course legendary stuff…which I honestly don’t care much about being a lowly casual these days).
Your mileage may vary.
edit: double negative. Yikes, need my coffee this AM.
Any game that’s lets you turn off the challenge of playing them is hardly a game in my opinion.
That doesn’t mean that people don’t enjoy that kind of clicker game. Tons of players play Raid: Shadow Legends. They seem to have a ton of fun just letting the game play itself and then getting to click on the loot to see what they game won for them.
OH great the slog fest got better… ffs, guess that’s a wrap for me on thorgast until I get better gear, just cant stand the snail pace or just impossibility to complete if you get shafted by RNG.
