Torghast changes for healers and tanks

They decreased the amount of times many of the powers stack, they didn’t buff anything. It’s a net negative.

It was sold as solo content


Thats the only perk it even has. We have regular dungeons for grouping.

they should’ve nerfed the dps torghast. it was only enjoyable on my tanks and now we all have to suffer this boring content.

They just made the solo version harder while not touching the group version of it, while at the same time adding another layer of buffs to enemies facing healers and tanks, it looks like forced grouping is exactly what Blizz is trying to do. Sure they sold it as solo, like that means anything now though?

And these same people will complain when DPS queue times are 45mins+.

It’s bad enough I have to carry mouth breathing keyboard turners, but now my solo stuff becomes a bigger PITA too. Sure, I’ll play even more now. Not.

The rewards are already pretty poor and reward less for higher difficultly? To make it harder for tanks and healers is a kick in the teeth.

Honestly it’s frustrating. The time lockout in the maw is frustrating too. They have this great zone but you can only play there for 30 minutes a day.

Torghast is horrible

It’s a “Fill this bar” world quest where the bar can just instantly empty again.

Who the hell want’s to deal with that?

And how many times have you ever even gotten enough copies of those powers to reach the new cap? Personally I can say I never have. I would rather have a more powerful anima power with a lower cap than a high cap I will never reach anyways.

They should make healers’ mana decrease 1% every 3 seconds in combat.

Layer 6 was hard enough without them buffing it tomorrow. JFC :anger:

Maybe go with a high burst clothie?

We went in last night. healer priest, cloth mage and a hunter tanking with his pet.

I killed everything. The hunter kept his pet alive and tried to keep the mobs/bosses off me. The Priest kept me alive. It worked really well. It was a fast easy run.

All I hear from healing and tank classes is how easy Torg is so of course they were going to do this. Y’all wouldn’t stop boasting how easy it was lmao

a) Most of us weren’t, and as layers increased many of us were having problems already.

b) If Blizzard listened to and reacted based on the forums we’d have far fewer bugs and far better spec balance.

Torghast is obviously not intended to easily and quickly Zerg down.

If you have trouble beating torghast in a reasonable timeframe, that’s player skill issue, player gear issue, or both.

Torghast is very boring, its like a poor man’s rift from D3. At least D3 rifts are fun, rewarding and short. I don’t want to take a hour + to go through tedious content.

Do the math pre hot fix. Mob health for healers was at least half of what it was for DPS and Healers do more than half the damage of a DPS.
