Its no joke as bad as ICP with their insanely LONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG Tracks of freaking nothing.
IMO Opiate was Tools best album, it was just the right amount of heavy with outstanding musical quality without any of the whiny lyrics that they tended to move toward later on.

Opiate is fine but definitely their WORST album!
I donāt listen to all the ānoiseā tracks either but I accept that itās part of their art. The actual SONGS are still freakinā amazing!!

Just realized something, I know a band you just may enjoy; not sure if you ever got into Ugly Kid Joe, but they have some insanely good musicā¦ A while back they came out with a few new tracks and this one is just amazing. May or may not be your style tho.

Danny Carey is a freaking mechanical metronome.
I disagree with the first point. They always have quality albums, but I donāt think Fear Innoculum is better than 10k Days, and neither is better than lateralus. Solid albums, but not their best.
Polyrhythm music is excellent too. Meshuggah is my favouriteā¦ masters of polyrhythm and weird time sigs.

Tool always have a sick groove. Rhythm section is on point.
I drift in and out of listening to them but Iāve dug them up again on the back of their recent album and am wallowing in nostalgia.
Iām going to seem them live next week. ^^

when i saw them, because of the arena seating, we couldnāt see Maynard for the entire show due to him being at the back of the stage. Not being able to connect with the vocalist makes for a poor show. i like the studio stuff though.
