Why would you want it to be faster? It’s the game. Most people who like a game want it to be longer, not shorter.
If what you like about retail WoW is that it’s short, then it sounds like you don’t like WoW…
Because leveling isn’t fun for me in WOW. I am here for the end-game, raiding, mythics and PVP… I enjoy leveling and going through a story, but imho WOW doesn’t offer fun or a quality story for the leveling process.
I’m not shortening the game… the vast majority of time spent, is in the end-game.

The Golden Era of MMO’s is when it was all about leveling. The current era of MMO’s is a dead genre that nobody plays. Because it wastes your time.

There has only ever been 1 MMO that managed to break into the mainstream, and it was vanilla WoW. Minimal story and 90% of the content was leveling.

Elden Ring sold 25 million copies. Just to stay in the same genre of gaming. If you leave the genre of RPG…oh boy.

No, I played on a private server with accelerated leveling… go to 60 and did mostly PVP, which is the only thing that’s actually good in vanilla and it’s bad compared to today’s game.

They did. It’s super fast even outside of the prepatch event. Like a few world quests per level.
