Too many hunters

Hunter is the easiest class to play and a lot of people want to be Legolas.

We see way more of these than the other sadly.

I actually miss deterrence, i liked that animation so much better.

Yeah, as someone who automatically gravitates towards bows and arrows in any game… I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re so popular just because they are the only class that can use a bow. If Blizzard didn’t have the audacity to take away my quiver all those years ago, I probably would have never stopped maining one myself.

I have a char of almost every spec. 3 lvl 70 (war, hunt, and mage) The hunter is very fluid and intuitive and can wreck an opponent. I specialize with MM but play all 3 classes.

Simply put, excerpting the equivalent amount of effort per char, Hunter out performs the rest for me. Love the fire mage, but dang just can’t quite get the numbers out, not terrible, but mey, War, I confess that is just me, I prefer ranged, it is so much easier to stay on target.

Legolas is a poser. I want to be Dar from the movie ‘The Beastmaster’ but use a bow instead of a sword.

Basically the voidwalker only uses taunt/torment when it loses aggro. Hunter pets use growl on cooldown so they rarely lose threat. I’ve been messing around on a lock in classic and noticed the VW there uses torment as soon as it’s up which is completely different than retail. Not sure if it was changed or a very long running bug. You can get around it by hotkeying torment and manually hitting it but it’s kind of annoying.

Because who wouldn’t want to look this good?

ran a mythic the other day, and the party breakdown was:

me (survival hunter)
marksman
beast master
paladin
priest

that was a fun run

Sorry I don’t care what you say but hunter is great you don’t see the damage of the animals

they bring hero/lust and high damage. so whats the problem  what hunter hurt you?

Let me play psychiatrist… Did hunters tame your parents when you were a little wolflet? So much rage. Yes, we hunters are many and our numbers are growing daily. We are taking over Azeroth.

That’s my reason too but apparently I’m not as brave as you

When all is said and done, you can’t go wrong with a good hunter.

When I was a new GM, we thankfully had a hunter that knew the game very well.

He taught me so much about guild stuff and raiding, he was the one that told me I was bad at playing rogue and should instead play my healer (Priest) as I was really good at that. I wasn’t good but hey I felt better lol.

He’d pull up to you at the start of a dungeon or raid and scope your talents out, give tips and such if things could use a different approach for the fight ahead.

I’ve never adopted the Huntard view on things thanks to that guy.

You simply can’t beat a good hunter.

I’m half tempted to level up my hunter thru dragonflight just so I can go Survival.

I got a stupid thing for underdogs population wise when I work on alts

I came to WoW from Ultima Online. I played a “tamer” there and had pets that were amazing. Hunter will always have a soft spot in my heart. I just wish the pets had more diverse abilities (like casting certain spells).

So, if you port into an instance, and you see me has the tank, you’ll just leave simply because it’s yet another hunter? More power to you.

“Great defensives” lmao… that’s literally the biggest issue with hunter at the moment. Despite viability being tied to an ultra rare bow from the last boss of the raid tier.
