It’s easy. For those of us who have been playing this game from the beginning, it seemed to be the easiest class, plus cool pets.
Also, as a mostly solo player, I can do most content without help.
My second class is a frost DK, but overall, I’d rather not fight close range

I like pets, just prefer playing without them in those situations.
I’m convinced 90% of moon guard now consists of void elf BM hunters.
Why? Cause I cannot complete the Fistful of Love achievement.
There have always been a HUGE number of hunters in World of Huntercraft. My very first toon was a hunter and still have him to this day. Hunter is the class I chose so I could learn the game with due to how easy they were to play.
Mind you that taking care of your pet meant something then with feeding and loyalty. Content was still so easy being a hunter. That’s why you’ll see more hunters in this game. Just a very fun class to play.
Hunter is one of the easiest classes to play, BM is by far the easiest spec in the game to play. Naturally you are going to see lots of us =).
Hunters deserve to be deleted from wow entirely, I am sick of hunters, I hate them with a deep passion

Its because they are easy to play and fun plus its cool to have a pet by your side especially if you solo play.
because its ez mode. BM is super mobile. pets are fun.
I think it’s because Beastmaster is easy, gets to collect pets, can constantly move even while casting, and no other mmo has ever made anything close to WoW’s Beastmaster in mechanics and responsiveness.
They also are the fastest class at clearing old content.
Camouflage and Cheetah are great at skipping a lot of mob density too.
Then there’s play dead and feign death.

Lots of reasons. I’ve played every class at max at some point. I always go back to my old Huntard.
Man just let people enjoy the game. No one cares who you’re sick of. People can play the class they want.
Let me guess, you started hating Hunters when one Need rolled on The Headmaster’s Charge from Scholomance because he needed it to buff his Arcane Shots?
