Too many 'hidden profile' trolls on the forums

What do you deem credible? How do you know the data is credible?

If someone jumps into a discussion regarding +22 mythic keys, and someone comes in and says “they’re easy get good”…

We would like to see their achievements regarding that content to see if the statement they made represents their in game participation.

Before you say they can buy runs…

Yes, there’s ways to research if they bought their runs or not.

It makes for more honest discussion rather than gaslighting and trolling.

I always thought people would troll regardless if you can see their achievements or not…I get where your coming from, I just ask that you understand where I am. There are people on this thread that don’t “vet people” they just want to annoy someone as much as possible and Jump to every thread that person makes usually for a childish reason.

But it’s much easier to validate if they are a troll or not much faster rather than needing to “prove” why +22s aren’t easy.

I understand that.

But that person can be flagged and reported, that’s clearly harassment and we should let the system deal with it.

But the constant trolling and gaslighting done by certain characters on hidden profiles is becoming out of hand.

It leads to a lot of threads being gaslighted.

It’s difficult to have an honest discussion now a days because of it.

You guys are saying “just ignore it”…but why does it have to be that way and why are we allowing it?..

I’ve had a hidden profile do this to me before. Sometimes people just want to keep trolls at bay. But it does suck that combating trolls in that way can make you look bad credibility wise

So you are wanting something Cogshanks? check-pvp.com is good at finding alts, especially those that do any sort of PvP.

Unfortunately doesn’t do much for the low level alts. =/

I will say, a lot of these people with hidden profiles are narcissists. They somehow think they are so important that people are going to stalk them from the forums. Like, wut lol?

Never saw myself as a Narcissist, but from personal experience with the OP, he likes to profile and achievement shame. I hide mine not to make it easy for them to do that. One of the reasons I have him on ignore.

This guy is my current main, if you wanna take the time to roll a level 10 on my server to troll me, go right ahead. I got a nice collection of these

and I keep getting more (slowly going through 143 right now).

I’m sure most of those reports came from toxic people in trade chat and from toxic individuals in your m+ keys.

Idc what level of anonymity people have. I care about what they’re able to do with their anonymity.

I care a lot more about whether or not some loser is trying to support himself on another toon than I do about whether or not anyone with some specific opinion about M+ has run M+.
