Gdkps are everywhere, and so are pugs. My only income in the game is doing ulduar 25m. Im lucky if i have 1k gold at one time on my character at one time. And i am not at a disadvantage.
I have a great guild that uber geared my toons, I’m a dallies freak so I make bank, and I love grinding everything not buying mats…However, we have all types in our guild, Some have jobs that basically only allows then to raid log, If they grab a token, I’m ok with it
People who didn’t buy from gold farmers were already at a disadvantage.
I get that but even if they didn’t buy a token it wouldn’t put them at a disadvantage. Cause even raid logging can give 200-500g which is more then enough to buy consumes and most enchants (which if in a guild most offer these things) which i know is true cause that is what me and my buddies do.
Every server had gold buyers , our Server economy was looney. I don’t know if the Token will help … only time will tell
Yep this is true, we honestly don’t know if it will even have any effect you are correct time will tell.
What disadvantage though
People who did things the right way get outpaced by somebody who buys their gear with real money or Ill gotten gold.
But they too also have to pray to the rng gods to hope that gear drops. Also hope their wallets are bigger then others and out bid. Just like we have to pray to rng gods the gear drops and we win the roll. Obviously not the same thing but i don’t see a disadvantage personally.
Didn’t say everyone who buys gets banned but they do in fact ban people. Be a troll all you wish, if that is what makes you happy
Youre just lazy and entitled.
It broke twitch viewer count records at Vanilla launch, had over 2 million individual account make characters in p1 and subscription revenue increased by 223%
I found all that out with a single google search. Youre just tryna troll since people arent allowed to post sources in these forums.
https:// massivelyop. com/ 2019/09/23/superdata-august-2019- wow-classic-drives-a-massive-subscription-surge/
I’m clearly pointing out that you said 1 million new subscribers when no articles says this. I’m asking where you got 1 million from. And the answer is nowhere. All this article states is in term of sub revenue jumped 223% which falls short of the revenue to 2018s bfa numbers. You are the troll here on the forums. Telling everyone the games dead and bad and that you are quitting but yet here you are.
So i will say again, stop making up numbers
That’s you bro.
Games dead af. Lmao. You may be mad about it and want to live forever outside of objective reality, but facts are facts.
Facts are facts however what you are saying is not facts. First you said 1 million new subs which no article says, then you said 2 million new subs which no article says. You live in your own little bubble where you think the game is dead. When in the real world the game will be just fine regardless of how “dead” you think the game is.
If the game is so dead please provide actual evidence.
Which miregrim posted the PCgamer article confirming.
I never said that, I said, like the article says, 2 million new characters were made on separate accounts.
Bro you’re projecting and seething for no reason. 40% of the population quit over the boosting crusade and were replaced by Retail refugees, now with the WoW token we’re seeing the same thing as when they announced boosts. People are quitting in droves, all the content creators are going mad crapping all over Wrath, it just is what it is. The game has no integrity and compared to what it was in 2019 before Covid the game is dead. From 16 full servers to 3.
No where in any article posted have they said 1 million or 2 million new characters on separate accounts . Please go an actually read the articles. Claiming the game is dead however when your server has recently logged around 15k people raiding within the last week. According to ironforge.pro which pulls data from warcraft logs. That is far from dead, that also isn’t account for people who do not raid and do other forms of content. Also where is your proof that 40% of players quit during tbc and the reasoning was due to the boost. The fact is you can’t, there are numerous reasons people quit and you do not know. Keep spreading misinformation friend. See you in togc and icc!
That’s dead af considering most people who main Wrath are logging 2-5 characters.
I’m done with your nonsense. You’re the typical lazy and willingly ignorant. You can’t do research for yourself and demand sources for everything like it’s a debate club, when linked sources to 1 million new subs you deny it lmao.
Go enjoy your p2w game. Soon unlimited boosts and store mounts will hit too. Maybe if you buy enough they’ll add RDF.
I did the research i googled it, i also read the articles you and the other player posted. Neither the articles or any google search shows numbers like you are claiming only words and %. Stop making up numbers and stop insulting people when you lose an argument.
Did you actually read the articles? Does not say 1 million new subs
Look ill make it easier for you, here is the article you posted:
Alright, all you armchair business analysts, it’s time to look over SuperData’s [sales research report for August 2019] Get your best arguments ready and try not to make Bree groan while moderating your responses. Here we go!
Surprising nobody, [WoW Classic]raked in huge numbers for Blizzard in terms of subscriptions: Subscription revenue jumped 223% in August when compared to July. However, it still falls short of the revenue total when compared to [2018’s Battle for Azeroth numbers, the last time WoW (West) broke into the top three on PC]
In terms of top grossers, [Dungeon Fighter Online] hits the top mark for PC, pushing League of Legends out of the way once again, while [Fortnite] makes the #1 spot on consoles. Top performers on PC also include respectively. [Pokemon Go] has hit a new high water mark in terms of sales, making $176 million in August and cresting its peak revenue when it launched in 2016. “Pokémon GO generated $176 million in August, marking its highest point since peaking in 2016,” SuperData argues. “Outperformance was partly driven by a flurry of in-game events as Niantic capitalized on what is typically the game’s strongest month.”
And here is the other guys article:
When [World of Warcraft Classic]went live in August 2019, we [pondered the question] of its long-term viability. Some of us believed that it would have legs, at least as long as Blizzard continued to provide updates, while others expected it to be a flash in the nostalgia pan.
It’s still early, but at this point it looks like those who bet on its durability are going to come out on top. Activision said during today’s Q4 financial presentation that World of Warcraft’s “active player community” at the end of 2019, defined as players with monthly or longer subscriptions, was more than double what it was at the end of the second quarter, less than two months prior to the launch of Classic.
“When we designed the model for World of Warcraft Classic, it was important that players have a single existing subscription to support both games. We think about the WoW community as supporting both, even though Classic and Modern are very distinct experiences. And we’re committed to continuing to support both of those experiences over the long term,” Blizzard president J. Allen Brack said during the Q&A call.
“Given the content updates for Modern WoW, and the cadence that we have for Classic, we exited our year with a subscriber base that was double what it was at the end of Q2. And we also see players remaining engaged in both versions of the game. We launched [Visions of N’zoth], which is a content patch for Modern WoW, in January. Engagement with Classic has been particularly strong in the East, and we see very high levels of player retention there.”
So again stop making up numbers, see you in togc and icc!
