Token Purchase

If I allow my my account to expire. can I then go to the character log in screen later and purchase one with my ingame gold?

I’ve done this in retail, but I searched the token faq and didn’t see that info for wotlk. thanks!

I don’t think it works that way on Classic as far as I know.

WoW token for classic question

In retail, I know if your sub runs it’s course and you happen to have a wow token (or gold enough to purchase one) in your inventory and you opt to try and resub again it’ll put the token in place to renew the gametime (unless I’m mistaken). Is this the same for WoW classic token? For the record, I’m not looking to unsub or the like … just trying to see if the token is a good investment to sit on in the event I choose to let my sub lapse for any reason.

You can’t log into the game without game time so not sure how you plan to buy or use a token in the game without game time.

on retail if you have the gold when you go to login it gives you a menu to buy the gametime with gold. even if you have no game time. doesnt work with wrath tho

If you have a token in retail and your game time runs out you can activate it somehow, not sure how as I don’t really play Retail.

You can’t do that on WotLK.

You could put in a ticket. Sometimes they give 1 day of gametime as a courtesy for you to go purchase a token.
