Today I got the virus

Not intentionally, I reread your statement after your assertment and can easily see how you could of meant it either way. The clarity wasn’t 100% But it was on me for assuming you meant the other. I apologize.

The way -I- read it was. People are not getting vaccinated and are getting healthcare workers sick.

tell that to upper management where i work. ever since the vaccine if you get covid 19 you don’t get allocated time off for work or pto for it so your still expected to go in for work if you used up your sick days and if not you get fired.

Ofcourse I do! Which is why I advocate for people to stop shoveling McDonald’s down their throats all day so that if they s get COVID they won’t be hit hard.

Notice, how the vast majority of COVID deaths are a direct result of unhealthy living, you might not like it, but you treat your body like garbage, well no sympathy here.

I don’t support letting anyone die from the disease, regardless of whose fault it is. I just want the vaccines to be mandated. But they’re right that it strains our system.

covid-19 has nothing to do with diet. stop talking about things you have no clue about.

Every choice you make puts people at risk. Drive your car, you risk crashing. Turn on the tv, you risk teaching violence. Drink water, you risk drowning.

Its not about anti-vaxers, its about you shaming others for making a choice. Yes they can deal with the consequence of not being allowed in places. But to make people feel bad for not doing something they don’t want to do… its just stupid.

Yikes…

That’s all I have to say to that.

Not entirely true, This person is simply in a rude way jabbing at how fat people have a higher chance of death. While ignoring there was still people of other demographics that die from it.

Not really, and a casual glance at the 7 day infections per 100k shows very dew states have any room to throw stones at most others.

Except vaccine or not, the virus spreads. This is a verifiable fact.

It’s a verifiable fact, from the CDC themselves that COVID is no more dangerous to a healthy human then the flu.

Vaccine can’t even fully do it’s job. It’s a cake pulled out the oven a little to early.

I just wish I could move to New Zealand, they clearly handled this problem correctly, and continue to do so.

That hasn’t actually been proven in any significant way. There are plenty of cases of people of people who aren’t destroying themselves getting COVID and dying while there are roughly equal cases of unhealthy living people getting it and pulling through.

They haven’t QUITE made that correlation, only the assertion that you stand a better chance of surviving the healthier life you lead.

No one said anything was perfect. It’s all a matter of probability.

Ofcourse not, because it’s not even passable lmao.

Which is worth noting, this is true for any illness that isn’t a straight up death sentence. And even in those cases being healthier at the very least prolongs your life.

So…if he cant disprove it…but he can say that it maybe can be disproved but we aren’t for sure…but I am definitely wrong because…but baseball…line drives…peanuts and cracker jacks

Probably because they’ve been spruked as being a cure or a prevention. For example, the polio vaccine was supposed to prevent polio, and did so. With many other vaccines, their effectiveness and potential side-effects are not revealed or discussed. There’s just a blanket “vaccine good” attitude from doctors.

The vaccine is doing exactly its job. It’s keeping people from getting the worst parts of this virus and keeping them from dying. That’s pretty much all any vaccine has ever been.

I’m vaccinated for measles and mumps. That doesn’t mean I couldn’t get either of those, but they wouldn’t kill me and I wouldn’t get violently ill from either of them. However, in both of these cases, these diseases are so rare now because so many people are vaccinated it doesn’t spread anywhere.

That’s where we need to be with COVID and we aren’t even close to that.

Obesity is a comorbidity in covid-19 as I am aware.
The act of eating fast food affecteth not thy chance of receiving the virus, but frequent consumption thereof in tandem with poor lifestyle choices leading to obesity increaseth the likelihood thine infection will more severe becometh if e’er thou art infected.
