Today I got Covid-19. Where I live the delta variant has been on a slight spike in numbers. I went into work this morning with a horrible cough thinking it was from vaping, smoking, partying on the weekend. Come to find out every single person (12) but myself and 2 others got tested positive for covid over the weekend. I didn’t even go to the testing facility I went straight to the E.R panicking. Got my results later today and yep. Positive. If you have ever had pneumonia my symptoms are similar but better. It’s like smoking 1200000 darts in one night. Slight fever, no headaches, I did get the loss of taste earlier but then I bought a litter of Pepsi and it came back lol. Everyone stay safe I wouldn’t wish this lung crap on anyone I’m just glad I am young and healthy

Vaccinations aren’t cures… I don’t understand why people don’t realize this. They act like just cause they got stuck they are safe. Just cause I wear a seatbelt doesn’t mean I’ll survive a car crash. Yeah they save lives, but they aren’t foolproof.

Take it easy man. I’m in quarantine but have my test later today hoping it’s all good because I would much rather be working.
A lot of my family members got Covid and recovered, but that was before Delta came out.
Ya I mean technically I don’t know which one I have didn’t say. But I’m just assuming so because it’s been on a rampage here

My mother is a nurse and also agrees that as long as front line defense continues to fail ( everyone not getting vaccinated, preventative measures) it won’t go away anytime soon.
imagine how bad it could’ve been without the vaccine. actually you dont have to imagine it just step into a hospital in the south/midwest
