yea WW. as far as i know smallpox is only in labs now, they gave me some when i deployed to iraq to build antibodies incase it was being weaponized there. it leaves a gnarly scar

2 million world wide is a bit small potatoes consider how many regions lack decent medical care. I know the US is bad due to how expensive it is. But a lot of places itâs just unaffordable. Speaking as a poor person in the US It takes more loops to pass threw, but I can atleast still get medicine here even if I canât afford it.

Imho itâs just a whole lot of businessâs and politicians doing a lot of sneaky behind the scenes things. Iâd like a big old magnifying glass to be shined on it and expose all the corruption going on there. -if Iâm right anyways-
Can I ask which vaccine you received and how long ago? They are noticing now some vaccines lose protection at different rates, ie some are keeping people protected for longer, others wear off quite quickly etc.

I admit I booked in my jab for Pfizer in October, but whatâs really frustrating is that while I sympathize fro what you are going through I am also nervous about side effects from the vaccine, so I feel kind of stuck in a no-win situationâŚ
Our current prime minister is a total moron who couldnât plan his own morning routine, let alone a pandemic or economic plan. He usually goes on overseas holidays whenever a national emergency happens.
Our ex-prime minister from over a decade ago had to go and talk to the ceo of pfizer (after all the rich business owners begged him) because our current government didnât care.
Our vaccines have been limited, so they were giving them out in stages to the most at risk first. Our age bracket (30s) is only now getting approval to get the vaccine. We had no chance to get it earlier.
Nsw is facing huge lockdowns because their premier (like a mayor, I guess?) was an arrogant witch who refused to take precautions or do a smaller quicker lockdown earlier because sheâs an idiot who while Victoria was facing similar huge lockdowns earlier was bragging about how well she was doing and stating how sheâd never let her state go into lockdown.

I had covid pneumonia myself. Was on oxygen for a good month after I was in the hospital. It wrecked me and took me some time to recover and I donât smoke. I hope you feel better soon.

You have a right to be nervous. Long-term side effects were not studied on due to the time constraints. Now, odds are still in your favor that nothing will happen to you long term, but still, everyone enjoys reassurance when it comes to things like this.
Luckily we have a record of those side effects in the making:

It should be an individual decision whether to risk getting covid or risk taking a vaccine with crazy side effects that can also screw up your life. I think these side effects are scary as heck.
Do I want to risk it? Do you want to?

I disagree with this. I donât think even the most willfully ignorant among them genuinely believe this is about their personal freedom. They see it as a way to stick a finger in the eye of anyone who opposed their political demi-God and theyâre willing to put themselves and their families and society at risk in the gamble that they, personally, wonât be affected.
If this was genuinely about personal freedom, it wouldnât fall so strongly along party lines.

My great great grandmother was a chain smoker and lived to be over 100 years old. While smoking can be terrible for your health, It doesnât always end up robbing you of years you may have wanted.
I had it back in April. I was knocked on my butt for 2 weeks. I had no energy and slept most of the time. I didnât cough or anything. Just ran a 102 fever (peaked at 104.3) and had no appetite.
