For the record, 90% of those threads are from just one guy . No joke he makes several every single day . Watch the names .
Read my next post. You chalk up a lot of complaints as whiny. People are trying to make improvements to a game we want to do well. This system is busted in 2020. Its obvious to anyone with a brain.
Maybe you should review the Classic announcement, they made clear their design philosophy for Classic.
It didn’t involve improving the game for 2020.
Yet they have? Do you not see the numerous changes around you?
WE WANT A UNBALANCED GAME!!!
that what makes it so much fun, i like how overpowered i am.
i dony want a challange in classic wow, ill go play a real pvp game if i do.
Its a 15 year old game that had no clue the scope of pvp, now we have this perfect game to get so strong you destroy things without any effort!
just flexing and griefing is the purpose of pvp in this game and i love it
I’m not sure why you think this is a different situation. Naxx is going to drop either way. Raiders are going to be decked out in full tier sets either way.
You are presenting this argument as if people will not face Naxx geared players if the current system of premades vs pugs remains unchanged. That is false. People are going to face Naxx geared players regardless, the question is whether or not pugs should face organized teams of Naxx geared players, or if Naxx geared pugs should only face other pugs with Naxx geared players.
Better gear is coming. It doesn’t change the premade vs pug argument at all.
The minor ones that have largely left the game unchanged? Is that an excuse to make more drastic changes? I disagree.
I played on daggarapine after transferring from blackrock. All the highwarlords I knew of shared accounts, it was practically impossible otherwise. I am not saying premades didn’t happen in Vanilla, but they weren’t nearly as prevalent on my realm. And that last point is important. Cross realm bgs have defined the meta across the board while ranks remain specific to realms.
You can argue that with more easily obtained gear, ranking for gear will largely see less play.
Ahh yes, the to little to late maneuver. That’s what blizz has been doing anyway. It will most likely happen with this too.
I don’t understand the complaint that more players are dedicating themselves more often than what was present in vanilla.
We’re all older, wiser with more streamlined goals. Players are coordinating themselves much better in PVE than what was present in vanilla too.
Premades are the casual game experience.
My complaint is the overall state of Bgs for the sake of fun and pvp, not ranking is in the gutter. If I need to wait for Naxx gear to trump highwarlords gear to enjoy bgs again so be it.
Wow classic will unveil when tbc is released.
I don’t think starting on 1.12 itemization and talents was a minor change at all. It clearly did not leave the game unchanged. That’s just one change too. There are more.
Absolutely but I’m not surprised since it was the easiest way for Activision to implement classic without actually tweaking the game to make it more enjoyable.
Blizzard stated from the start what build we’d launch on. Regardless how you feel about this, it doesn’t excuse further changes.
Except that blizzard has in fact been making changes to BG’s in classic to try to make the experience better, some of those changes were directly aimed at preventing pug stomping.
I would have took out that second part too
A lot of us warned people that the content would be rolled over. We are playing on a naxx level patch while clearing MC. We are twinks.
The original point was the success of this game as it moves forward. To BC and even WotLK. There will be changes bud. They already made some. They will make more.
I forgot what it said, lol. I didn’t feel that it was relevant.
I’m not a fan either.
Sure but I doubt it’ll be large changes to break premades.
