To the players who hate boosting

Yeah man it really devalues your achieve to have a person who does one hit and then is told to jump off to get it to lol /s

The only boosting that is an issue is pvp boosting.

This sounds like the smart one in your example. Whoever the guy was who put in all the work was either an idiot or a masochist.

The scandal & tokens are 2 separate things.

I check logs my dude.

As someone who puts in the work, you’re not wrong.

So you are saying that the people who join a Mythic raiding guild and raid like 3 days a week for like 5hrs are masochist and idiots?

The difference is that a narcissistic sociopaths who likes to be carried and has no issues at doing so does it at the expense of everyone else they come across. Would you like it if some dude came into your group that you didn’t know, but their entire intention was “I am going to put in bare minimum effort and try to die as often as possible so I can put in even less effort just so these other four players can carry me”? Would you like that?

It’s actually quite amazing how much effort someone will put into, well anything they can, just so they can make themselves believe they are not actually putting in effort so those around them can do all the work for them.

Like I find it to be less effort to just play the game. It’s $20 a month and I can do everything for ‘free’ after that. Finding the time to farm for gold or to work OT to pay for tokens, it’s actually easier, faster and better to just play the game and be in a guild who runs keys and does raids.

A sociopath will convince themselves that farming gold and paying for a carry and than using their new found stats to continue to be carried is easier, or better, or whatever they want to say to make themselves believe it’s not a wrong thing to do, and they will do it at the expense of anyone, even though in reality it’s far easier to be in a guild and just run keys and raids with people.

I wouldn’t care. It’s all about how much they would pay me for it.
If they wanted it for free, your argument might be true. But if they’re willing to pay me gold, we’re satisfying a demand by supplying a service. It’s basic trade.

Lots of easy to find logs showing what mechanics people fail in their M+ runs and how often? You’ll have to tell me where I can get a hold of these.

Ban dem all.

One or the other. I’d say most of them are masochists, but I don’t talk to such people, so it’s hard for me to gather accurate data.

I wouldn’t care, as I never join groups of any kind in World of WarCraft. I exclusively solo.

I still don’t see the problem.

Some people enjoy putting time and effort into their characters. Some people enjoy the challenge of fights like in Mythic and etc. I wouldn’t say that makes them masochist and/or idiots.

If they want to do that, that is just them wanting an extra challenge. Like putting a single player game on very hard mode. There is nothing wrong with that.

In this case, some people are ok with putting that extra time into a character and also researching mechanics and optimizing their character and class to maximize their DPS and Healing.

Both are the product of a management mentality focused on money and not quality.

Mainly, my main mon, It’ be da spam, they be hatin de spam. Honestly socials and trader who share the trade chat both hate them. Their is a few more reasons, But mainly its the spam.

you’re wasting your time with this one. he doesn’t play the game beyond trivial or solo world content, yet always has opinions on aspects of the game he doesn’t participate in.

If someone is buying io chances are their raid logs aren’t good either.

That would make sense in a single player game.

0 effect on anyone else?
Yeah, so if you hadn’t done a single M+ before, bought a round of +15’s, and I invited you based off your M+ score to run a +10 with me, and you do 0 DPS and die about 15 times, that doesn’t effect 4 other people right?

Same story with raiding.

It’s the equivalent of lying on your resume and having a hoax job reference.

Ok… You are assuming that the person who is doing stuff like Mythic raiding is painful or tedious to them. Someone who accepts and understand that dying a lot of in a Mythic raid group is not considered a masochist. Not everyone sits there and enjoys that they are dying on a boss fight all the time, but some understand that raiding on that kind of level is going to have wipes from time to time and they accept that.
