To the Horde stuck in queue

We’re bouncing between threads lol. We just need one streamer to make a video and we’re golden.

The alliance should do the same and play BGs with the objective of ending them via HKs instead of funneling through choke points like lemmings trying to kill Drek.

This is unironically exactly how AV meta went in Classic.

It started with both sides rushing Drek or Van - the same as pre patch.

Then horde asked for AV premades to be removed and Blizzard obliged - and horde queue times went through the roof.

This time it’s different because everyone who started early capped, but same effect.

The horde got salty about long queues and started to turtle games, and continued doing it after AV premades were removed from the game.

Eventually alliance just stopped queueing unless there was an objective in AV for them and the gear disparity between horde and alliance grew.

The end result is new alliance players hating PvP and horde free farming dungeon geared players in their raid and PvP gear.

Not for me. On my server Alliance went straight to our furthest GY and prepared for a turtle. We didn’t even try to win. lol

I don’t pvp anymore but in my experience we can’t because the horde is usually one massive turtle only sending people back to recapture. You can’t end it with honor kills when its 20 people charging in to 38.

I missed the late stage phases of AV because I was one of the players that got in there early and learned to hate it after ranking in it.

8 minute games with instant queues for 3 months straight all day every day isn’t as fun as it sounds.

I mean. You just turtle SHGY and make a push into fields after they’re wiped and have their spawns staggered.

Except we get wiped. They don’t. Plus they spawn at ibgy and they don’t meet us in the field. They meet us at balinda. A choke point. If the horde ignored us and rushed past problem solved. They’d likely win that one because the alliance wouldn’t know what to do.

Haha well alliance getting wiped in terrain where they have the high ground anywhere horde approach from is a problem I can’t solve.

Why are you trying to solve it? People are stupid. I used to like pvp till this turtle meta happened. Not only are less and less alliance q’ing up but they’re dragging out the avs doubling their q times. They do it to themselves and don’t realize it.

Individual players just get caught up in it though. Like if I was some random Horde following that meta I would not feel responsible at all. I am playing the game and this is what everybody else is doing. I can’t make my own strat and win by myself.

Because the ultimate outcome of alliance wiping horde where they have an advantage is a snowball of that advantage.

If alliance cannot PvP better than horde they aren’t going to win, period.

You can’t treat AV like a PvE instance without a premade.

Players in BG pugs are always going to go off and do their own thing, people value the game differently.

The reason horde like to turtle is because they see it work. The alliance give up. People just ride past each other to let others get picked off by players there to PvP and not kek Drek.

They win because they play for HKs while you play for objectives.

I actually hate PvE mode AV. I love the turtles and the chaos. It’s so stupid when I spend the entire game at their relief hut and never actually see any Horde.

Stop forcing turtles in AV and maybe your q would get better lol

The whole thing isn’t about alliance winning. It’s about shorter q times for horde. That’s literally it. Idgaf about alliance winning. I don’t pvp.

This is the most asinine statement I’ve heard in a while. If you hate PVE mode in AV, stop playing the only BG with PVE objectives. AV is the BG with PVE objectives that reward huge amounts of honor. It’s the best honor farm in the game for both factions. It’s literally designed this way. It’s for people that are in there specifically going for the farm honor quickly > actual pvp. Stop ruining the honor farm for both factions and making horde queue times go through the roof.

In my experience AV “PVP” is mostly clashes of wildly mismatched group sizes. The larger group always wins. There are virtually zero evenly matched fights.

If you want actual PVP go open world on a balanced PVP server, or in smaller BGs where you might actually get to face off against an evenly matched amount of players.

Sadge life <3

I’ve played both factions plenty. Horde does the spit emote much, much more. The more PVP devolves into stop them from getting any honor instead of, we’re here to outplay them, win the game quickly and get a fair amount of honor, the less honor everyone gets.

The griefing goes both ways, and every time you do it, the more likely it will be done back to you.

I’m not sure u can Horde simp and harder…Traitor

Alliance lets horde win every game. We have sympathy for you horde.

I just want to see the horde suffer tbh.
