I am so bored of the trolling and generally childish behavior of Alliance players that get off on Horde misery. The factions are symbiotic. We are all trying to play and enjoy this game. How angry and short-sighted does a person have to be to enjoy knowing that the other faction is having a miserable experience with a significant aspect of the game?
Could you have rolled Alliance? Yes.
Should you reroll? Possibly.
Is it a serious hinderance whether you do or not? Absolutely.
Just because you could have rolled Alliance does not mean you have no ground to be frustrated about the situation. It is valid to want to play Horde, one of the two factions in this game.
I’m legitimately sorry, because that sucks. Unlike other IDIOTS on the Alliance, I am rather not satisfied with the knowledge that the Horde BG experience is miserable. I knew there would be queues, which is why I went Alliance to PvP, but hearing about how bad it actually is kind of shocked me. I don’t remember hearing about queues that bad since the days of dead vanilla servers.
I agree with targeted free faction transfers. I disagree with most of the rest of the suggested fixes, but I am open-minded and I do want to see the Horde situation improve. Keep your chin up y’all, if you have one (looking at you undeads.)
your empathy is not the problem. but you can only coddle them so much.
you think more people play horde to play horde? and that magically these people also pvp more?
no, people play horde to pvp because they have marginally better pvp racials. they play with an advantage because that advantage makes pvp easier to win. this circles around to longer queue times and as a result, horde are a bit more focused on playing correctly to win or maximize honor when they are in those bgs they waited for. again an advantage over the more chill alliance players that can get into the next game a little faster.
i don’t sweat it when i play chess with my 6 year old nephew and he gets to remove 6 of my pieces before we start the game. its a game and this gives him a chance to win.
when an adult player wants an advantage in pvp, i don’t “get off” on horde’s misery when i chuckle at their horrible queue times and decide to play some pve content instead. i don’t see this as trolling or childish behavior.
on the other hand, when horde players make multiple forum posts complaining about the problem that their own selfiishness created - i mean come on, they’re basically asking for troll responses.
eventually horde players will either stop playing, or play alliance. this has happened before. it will happen again. this is how this gets resolved. the sooner they quit or pull up their bootstraps and play the harder faction, the sooner the queues bet better.
or wait until wrath expansion. and humans get a better pvp racial. and then magically the queues arent as bad for horde.
This is a definite no. You know who caused the problem? It was alliance rerolling to horde in TBC. The blame lies mostly with them since they’re fair weather players apparently. Many of us horde have always been horde.
How much of a crime is it to want to PvP and to pick a race you think will be good at it? I did it too; that’s why I went human. I just thought ahead and chose not to roll Horde. The racials really don’t give them that much of an advantage, especially in a competitive team environment like a BG. It’s not some kind of fair tradeoff or whatever it is you’re implying.
These people are frustrated. They spent time and money to play a game we all enjoy and their experience with a significant aspect of it is kind of miserable right now. It is pretty small of anybody that chooses to mock them and troll them over it.
The only empathy I feel is that most horde players are stuck in a meta slave version of gaming today. And there faction was swamped with metaslaves who only know how to play bc of extensive youtube guides
ITT: miserable alliance thinking that because they had a poor experience as alliance (in Wpvp which arguably doesn’t matter as much as BGs do right now) that horde should also suffer.
I see y’all bxtching over your server being overrun with horde but then when a solution is offered by players (faction change from horde to ally), all of a sudden y’all don’t want server balance any more because it helps horde players by letting them go alliance. Essentially these people that feel this way ultimately don’t care about how others feel, while also telling people about their hurt feelings over classic lol.
Me and my friends all rerolled Horde yesterday🙂 We got tired of getting instant queues only to see Alliance players autorunning into walls, losing 80% of the games pug vs pug, also the attitude of Alliance players on the forums like you say. So now I guess we’re part of the problem.
No, they never have done faction transfers. They only did server transfers to dead servers when queues were terrible then they added layering back in a few weeks later as a slap in the face
