To people who refuse to do dungeons, even normal…why?

Wows end game is raids 5 mans or rated pvp. Leveling isn’t the journey anymore

Too many people. Being an outcast is what I was born to be.

Still not making any sense.

And definitely not explaining how you think wow is a multiplayer rpg but not an rpg experience.

Perhaps you should flesh out your thoughts more.

If you want to get anywhere you need to play with people playing solo doesn’t. Group play is king

It depends on the experience they have had in a dungeon. When I first started back in Cata, I got kicked out of LFR because I rolled need on a green. It took me a long time to go back into LFR because of it. So if these folks run into mean people, I can understand why they might not want to go back into a dungeon. Especially if that isn’t something they actually enjoy to do.

Lfr is full of idiots. Don’t let that stop you

Still having difficulty fleshing out those thoughts, I see.

Your a solo player orlfr hero got it. I can’t help you there if you don’t want to group

I always did PUG Dungeons and Raids which left a really sour taste because of all the awful way people got treated each other. In my case there are more important things to do in game that doesn’t need to have feedback from foul mouthed people.

Find some people to run with you have a decent item level and get some m+ in. Also your leggo isn’t bis fyi. M+ is fun with friends over pugs

If you’re leveling then sure, but why would you do a normal or even a heroic now? It’s basically a waste of time unless you need a power or something from there.

Same reason why people play Overwatch and can’t shoot nothing, I would wager. Some things are just not meant for me to understand. People’s spending decisions on games they don’t play well or attempt at improving in being one of them. Same goes for Monster Hunter. It starts simple but it gets brutal. Which is why you see a lot of people in the simple areas and cannot do the brutal monsters. I think people just play it cause it is popular. And WoW is popular…so they just play for the connections. You play Skyrim. You are alone. Some people want to play Skyrim and see people playing beside them. Not really working with them or doing things with them…just there. And that’s WoW for those people. That’s how I always saw it.

I don’t do dungeons (though I love them) because nobody - not even my kids - let me take the time to explore them. I’m told where to go and how fast to run and where to stand and … I stopped having fun the first time you told me to keep up.

Only takes one time or 2 times to learn where to go to not pull extra stuff you don’t need. There isn’t much to explore in the dungeons

Because you cannot escape Mythic-wannabe tryhards bashing you for making the smallest mistake. On Normal difficulty dungeons.

So very sorry my standard of gameplay doesn’t fit with your lofty expectations.

I don’t do them often but when I do it’s usually on a class/spec that’s suited towards speed running.
Anything with good AOE
Like, I’m not a fan of dungeons on my rogues unless it’s my outlaw.
But on like, my destro warlock I enjoy them quite a bit more. Throw cataclysm, rain of fire, rock monster, and sprinkle in some chaos bolts and everybody is happy.

Some classes are just more in tune with dungeon speed runs now.
On my shadow priest, I find them painful.

how much RP ing is done in mythic+ or raids? it is a mmoRPg. no one is doing it wrong. pet battles are as much part of the game as raids.

I do not have dedicated play time. Thus most people aren’t really crazy about someone going afk half the time for 1 to 20 minutes… (Definitely can’t blame them!)

And, frequently I only have 1/2 to 1 hour to play, well wait time can be over that on occation, or at least a large chunk of it leaving not enough time to group with others for a dungeon.

And… The ascerbic playerbase does not help. I don’t do “go go go go go” I do like to stop and smell the roses, enjoy the scenery, maybe do quests… This is not a popular concept, thus I end up holding back others or being left behind. Neither of which is fun.

I love the questing (usually, not so much in SL.) I enjoy the game in my own way. But if I can’t solo it then I don’t do it. Meaning a large chunk of the game I never encounter. Makes the game much less fun, but I do still have some fun. (Though currently I’m on a break from the game, got a bit burned out doing the same stuff over and over.)

Then why does Blizzard make content for solo play if it’s only multiplay?

I don’t recall dungeons being an esport during the “GOGOGOGOGOGO” years of wrath.

The GOGOGOGOGO mentality has existed long before Mythic +, nor challenge mode dungeons were a thing.

So what was the excuse for it during that period?

They need a spacegoat to blame their problems on. Even if those problems existed long before said spacegoat did.
