which isnt removed as you said.
The majority of your posts have been complaining about other people lol
I think it’s annoying, but I’d never kick someone for it, personally.
Support the ability to do so, as always, but it’s such a minor thing for me.
I wouldn’t kick them unless that wasn’t the only problem. But if someone asked them to disable that, I wouldn’t object.
100% you’re putting yourself above the group. The fact remains, vote kicking isn’t prevalent like you claim, and in most cases the people who are kicked deserve it.
For example, in a Dire Maul last night, I was gaming with my kid and we were enjoying Time Walking. My kid was tanking and I was the healer, and 2x of the DPS followed us around the outer rings for the less common side bosses. A Mage though, was running his mouth and saying how we are wasting time, didn’t help us clear, and waited by the tree boss the entire time. Naturally I put him up for a vote kick and the group got rid of him.
Why should a group have to deal with a selfish clown like that when we are all just trying to have fun?
What you fail to understand, that the kicks are veponized and not used for their purpose.
Abused.
The introduced system failed, and being abused.
A statement blizzard disagrees with and you fail to provide evidence for.
Only that they’re not. Unless 3-4 people are doing so. Seems like a huge stretch.
Since Blizzard disagrees that it’s “abuse”, you’re welcome to feel that way but Blizz disagrees.
Lies. Try again.
Provide evidence that its not being abused.
Evidence that it is constantly abused is abundant.
I’ve yet to see any tbh
Provide evidence that I am not actually a real life vulpera.
The burden of proof lies at the feet of those with the claim.
People like you, were yealling here on foumrs, that THERE IS NO PROBLEMS WITH M+ LEAVERS.
I bet you were advocating for that too, amIright?
Yet it was fixed and abusers punished, weird isnt it?
Because there were not enough threads about this already?
Weve all read the social contract that tells us how to treat other players.
We all know that kicking someone who has done nothing to warrant being kicked, but to do it for spite and malice and jokes is against the letter and spirit of the social contract.
Regrettably blizzard made themselves the easy scapegoat for the behavior by telling us we can ignore the social contract and treat other players any way we want to in this one area of the game…and scapegoat we do…
They wanna spam it so they cant hope its like that old saying
Oily wheel gets the squeek, or something like that
Again… you were the person calling out other people straw manning… correct?
You don’t see any irony there?
I’m sure you wish Blizzard agreed with your false interpretation. They don’t though. It’s in writing and backed up in so many Blue posts that it’s embarrassing that you continue to push this false narrative.
It’s likely just trolling or player raging, I’ve run details 24/7 for many xpacs since I got sick of people rage blaming everyone else. The majority of time people initiate a kick it’s rejected, but a lot of people still mindlessly press -yes- without thinking. Sometimes, it’s glaringly obvious that folk aren’t trying their best to complete an instance or are waaay over their head and a vote kick is necessary, but that is very few and far between.
Why are you fighting so hard against this? Are you kicking players for no reason?
I have a friend who has never been kicked, but of course, he’s someone who has been playing the same three classes for the last six years, and he plays them very well. But does that mean that in a game where you’re supposed to be able to play any class you want, you can’t try other classes because if you’re not good enough, you’ll be kicked?
I’ve only noticed this problem now and not in the past because I’ve been leveling all the classes in the game over the past month! That’s how I managed to get 14 characters to max level, taking advantage of the experience boost from the anniversary event. And every time I play a class I’m less practiced with, I’ve noticed these types of attitudes more frequently (although not always). I almost never get kicked; in fact, when I leveled my main characters, I didn’t experience this issue at all. But now that I’m leveling so many characters in such a short amount of time, the problem is much more apparent.
I’ve seen many of your responses that just say, “If you’re getting kicked so much, maybe you should take a look at yourself…” As I’ve said, it’s not that I’m getting kicked all the time, but the few times it does happen, it’s incredibly frustrating because of the 30-minute deserter penalty. Maybe if you were leveling a massive number of characters like I am, you’d see this issue more often than you think. If you’ve only leveled a few characters, and they’re the ones you play best, maybe you won’t encounter this (although it can still happen, like when you get kicked for defending other players, as happened to me).
For example, there was a dungeon where a DK tank was pulling a MASSIVE number of mobs and dying almost instantly because he couldn’t handle them. The healer couldn’t keep up with his suicidal pulls, so the tank wanted to kick the healer when the tank was clearly acting recklessly. On top of that, the tank started insulting the healer and initiated a vote to kick him. I defended the healer, telling the tank not to pull so many mobs at once if he couldn’t handle it. And for defending the healer, I was kicked! In a dungeon where I was the top DPS!
So, just because a tank who doesn’t know what he’s doing goes crazy, starts insulting others, and tries to kick anyone who disagrees with him, and the rest of the team votes “Yes” either out of fear of losing the tank or simply because they don’t even read the vote and just automatically click “Yes,” does that make it fair for someone to be kicked and receive a 30-minute deserter debuff?
Anyone who defends this tank’s behavior would likely do the same thing: attack anyone who doesn’t agree with them without regard for the fact that their selfish attitude could harm someone else.
