I said it doesn’t encourage it. It’s agnostic.

Classic through Wrath had an accountable system and that didn’t “encourage” retribution. It was agnostic - you knew who kicked you but it was up to the player if they wanted to act on it.

That sounds like it would lead to a lot of runs devolving into groups sitting there arguing over who deserves to actually get kicked for 10 minutes until everyone gets tired of it and leaves

if getting kicked is a way to bypass deserter, players will exploit that to leave without getting deserter.

People who’d abuse the system by being force kicked are the same players abusing the system by kicking players they don’t want in the group.
The system doesn’t work.

I would rather the latter, because now we’re just penalizing players who don’t deserve it while the ones who do go without repercussions.
