very likely the OP doesnt want their Main being noticed in here…this isnt the only topic that that happens on, just in case you dont watch for that sort of thing.
You can sure try initiating a vote kick for that reason.
If the group agrees then the person will be kicked and the system is working as intended
It’s all up to the group
Bingo bango
It’s a democracy, not a dictatorship
Can’t force people to play with people who aren’t helping the group, toxic, etc etc
Heyo.
Players can remove another for any (or no) reason.
That’s it. That’s the system. It works and it’s not gonna change.
I don’t disagree, but this is the appropriate way to provide feedback regarding them:
I heavily encourage you and anyone else who wants to comment on them to do so through that email.
You not wiggiling out of this one.
Your logic states that I am allowed to kick anyone whoim I am carrying.
That means everyone.
And if the other people in the group agree, the system is working as intended.
Were you trying to make a point?
Another member of “supportive community” showing true cancer toxic colors.
Letting the person who was kicked see the reason for the kick doesn’t effect blizzard one way or the other.
This doesn’t address the core of the problem, which is players who feel they have been unjustly kicked are being penalized.
As blizzards position is that the system is not being abused, they will not do this. I agree with their position in that regard. But even if they did, they can’t wave their hands and magically invent an automated system that catches all the bad actors. Even in their most recent attempts to remove chronic m+ leavers they only managed to find the most extreme cases. Your proposed automated system could never operate with the precision to affect the change you’re interested in.
The good new for the OP is that they can start their own group (friends, guildies, rbados…) and pug it themselves without using the LFD or LFR system and be in complete control. In fact, NOBODY can kick them if they do that!
In fact, making your own group seems to be predatory…or…weaponizing…or whatever hawt word of the day it is.
Want to use the LFD or LFR system? Then there are safeguards in place to allow groups to determine in a majority vote, who gets to be in the group! It’s a good system.
Majority rule.
People can’t force others to do things for/with them.
How people like this get to be on community council?
This gotta be a joke right?
To be that out of touch.
MVP isn’t community council.
I don’t think MVP is the same thing as community council.
A friend of mine twinks and was just in a run where no one but him was contributing more than 3% of the total DPS (for obvious reasons), and the rest of the group STILL kicked someone out for not keeping up.
Like, what?
It’s a blatant twink carry run.
However you feel about that, NO ONE but the twink is going to meaningfully contribute. Why on earth would you kick someone over it?
(note: full random group, the person kicked was not with the twink getting boosted)
There is no abuse in any of those examples you listed as you being kicked. If the group wants to remove you for any reason, it is valid.
And in 14 years I have only been kick a handful of times. You getting kicked so much makes me think this is a you issue.
The support article tells us to use the in game feedback.
These threads have been beaten to death, debunked numerous times as not a systemic issue and devolve thanks to a certain small group, that I’m assuming you’re part of. Because no one else posts this stuff.
Then you may want to look at yourself, not the group.
Ten times you’ve been kicked?!
No, it probably means they want to move faster, because they’re impatient.
I’m doubting this is a repeated issue.
Lots of people use those addons. Not once in over a decade have I seen anyone kick for that. So either someone is really nitpicky about their chat or this is another rare thing.
I highly doubt that.
No one knows who hit “no.” So this is made up.
No, what they illustrate is either half of this is made up just to stir up more drama on the subject or there’s more to this, because these insanely rare instances are not the norm.
Does not exist.
Then stop pugging and actually run with your guild.
Yes it should, because of the degenerate behavior of people wanting to be removed.
There is no such thing as abuse of the system and the computer doesn’t get to decide who four other people want to run with.
There is no unjust kick. But there was a cooldown on being able to kick if used frequently which does need re-implemented.
No it does not. Because this is not a large systemic issue.
Lol, the community council has gone full rouge. No wonder why players are so miserable.
The vote kick is the ONE area of this game where the Social Contract on how to treat other players can be ignored and defied with the companies blessing.
