I mean, the first obvious thing is the fact he said he has only seen 5 or less total kicks over the course of 15 years. I’d probably see that many in one expansion.
How does it do that? Because you disagree? You’ve executed like 7 different logical fallacies in this thread alone.
I don’t know, how much support does it get if you do?
Generally speaking, something that garners a lot of support would suggest there’s merit to what you’re saying, so if you say “I was kicked for picking up a quest” and you get nearly 100 likes, then obviously, that’s evidence of a larger systemic issue with the game.
I’m curious what measurement you’re using here to determine that, because unless I’ve hallucinated the last twenty years, then the suggestion that I don’t do much dungeon content is false.
Unless you mean M+ content, which isn’t what this thread is discussing.
No, because they can’t stop themselves from posting in this thread Ad nauseam.
You’re deliberately ignoring the crux. People are talking about the clear and obvious idiotic kicks that any intelligent person knows happen. It’s the people who engage in those types of kicks trying to fallaciously defend the position with conjecture.
So no, someone else using ad hominem does not fit.
Without using “TrustMeBro” as a source, why don’t you post actual evidence that there is an issue with the vote-to-kick system. Oh wait, that is sealioning to you, because you rather make the claims than prove the claims.
Are you admitting if someone makes a total lie on the forums that gets support, you’ll believe it.
A person sealioning, trying to continue doing so by sealioning more.
Are you reading this stuff before you submit? That’s not a rhetorical question.
It’s like the same few people who come into these threads with the same fallacious replies, thinking that repeating them means they’re less fallacious.
I’m just sitting back reading them thinking “ai yai yai…”
Welcome to the age of “facts are whatever I say they are if they fit my narrative.”
See Forums, this is why there is no issue with the Vote to Kick system. Because people can’t prove there is.
And I was even happy to prove you wrong that there was exactly no issue with the vote-to-kick system.
You could figure this out for yourself right now to make that conclusion.
Chances are you won’t, because you also know that there’s no merit to that claim.
Or, the fact that anyone can claim anything just to seek some attention, and there will always be someone who will go, “awww, poor soul, here, have a cookie.”
More logical fallacies. This one is called “belief perseverance.”
This one is called “non-sequitur”.
In otherwords, continue resorting to trolling because you got no actual argument.
This should’ve not come as a surprise.
This one is called “ad hominem”.
Funny, me pointing out his logical fallacies is a logical fallacy itself, but half his posts in this thread are just trying to point out logical fallacies.
I’m a troll, he’s…doing god’s work? I’d guess?
Remember: He said he’s an expert.
Well if he said it, it must be true.
As a matter of fact, I identify as an expert on the vote to kick system and the deserter debuff, as well as whether or not it’s a problem as currently designed.
My expert analysis is that there is no problem.
Most of yours ARE logical fallacies.
This is the problem with forums at times are posts like you two. Demanding evidence when they really don’t want it. Attacking the person rather than their position. Bringing up things that have absolutely nothing to do with the position. Attacking a position the person never even held.
All in attempts to derail the discussion. But who am I to judge? If you want to march to the beat of your own drum, that’s your right.
Okay, well again, if what you say is true, then you could easily make a thread to debunk my assertions. You could conjure up a lie, any lie, right now and make a thread about it and cut through the weeds of this conversation rather than speculating something to be true.
Or you could continue to suggest it’s all fake because the observable evidence doesn’t match the narrative you’re trying to create here. Much easier to just call people attention seekers and trolls than to figure it out for yourself.
Why has every attempt at proving there is an issue with VtK, where the victim brings evidence, has ended in proving the exact opposite to be true?
