Titanforging makes difficult content feel POINTLESS

War/Titanforging was intended as a lure to keep people running Mythics when they’d already gotten all the gear possible from them.

There is no right or wrong getting gear in this game.It is however discouraging, when you raid or do a mythic and get 0 loot at all.

This is the main reason why I decided not to do them.Would you spend months trying to get some good stat gear for your spec.when time is running out you would gear up the fastest way possibly available.

More like how many people have been buying BFA by now? thats what matters most $$$$$$ in 2019.

Titanforge and warforge weren’t meant to be farmed but it did indeed kept them in the game,go metrics.

And it mostly works to do that.

Because for one you have to be lucky?

If they take out forges then Mythic+ doesn’t work then o the irony.

Because you aren’t consistently going to get that 425.

I don’t care for the titanforging system in its current implementation, but your argument is silly.

Except you’re wrong. Other people enjoying pet battles DOES effect me. I lose a weekly to something i don’t do or enjoy. Same with PVP, “as an affliction lock that’s a given right now.”

That doesn’t mean i’d be any more valid complaining that pvp or pet battles exist. Just because they effect me. Not EVERYTHING has to be designed around me.

The world doesn’t revolve around you pal.

I’m not convinced you know how to read.

At this point you’re agreeing with me (while thinking you’re disagreeing) despite saying the opposite earlier.

Revenue. Not profits

Uh no… I’m saying just because something effects you doesn’t mean you get to argue against it existing for others.

I don’t care what we want to call it… From a news site:

During today’s Q4 and full-year earnings call for Activision Blizzard, it was announced that despite a “record year” of profit, the company would be reducing its headcount by a net total of 8% in 2019 - approximately 800 people based on employee figures as of last summer.

Fear not OP, I’m a filthy casual, I don’t raid or do M+, and while I have a substantial amount of TF/WF gear, nothing comes close to ilvl 425.

I struggle to get upgrades with a current ilvl of 401, if I could go kill 8 sand crabs for an ilvl 425 piece I think I’d have done that by now, I have not taken a break and have done many wq’s and all the warfronts, both Horde AND Alliance and have no 425 pieces. My priest has a TF 420 piece of gear, that’s the highest I have over 6 120’s.

I’m not seeing or understanding how you think this high level gear is somehow so easily obtainable, when if it was in fact so damned easy I’d think I’d have at least one single piece of it, I DON’T!

I do understand where you are coming from, the hardest to complete content should reward the best gear, it should not be made irrelevant with easy catch up gear so soon, I get that, it just really isn’t that easy man.

I am not catching you up any time soon, despite the time I put into this game, I am no threat to your eliteness

:beers: /cheers

Theyre very different. ones your income after expenses (profit) the other is before you take into account expenses (revenue)

From a news site:

Activision Blizzard leadership made widespread layoffs today, cutting 8 percent of its staff — or about 800 jobs — despite posting “record-setting” revenue for its 2018 fiscal year.

You can set records for revenue while not setting the record for profit.

So we got profit and revenue from two different news sites. I don’t care.

sorry. Just see people spreading that “profit” lie a lot. There is a difference. They didnt set any records for profit

You can set records for anything you want to.

Sorry, take it up with news sites if you have a problem.

I have never proposed removing anything due to it affecting me. I have simply stated that certain things DO affect me and that I’m allowed to have an opinion on such things.

I’m allowed to dislike flight and feel that simply opting to not fly is a poor solution to it existing, due to the effects of -other- players continuing to use it regularly.

That’s what I’m arguing, because in the beginning you tried to shut down not liking flight with “just don’t fly then”, which is a poor response.

And, I should clarify, I -do- think flight is bad for the game, but my feelings on that specifically are not very strong. It’s whatever. I mostly keep using that as an example because it’s a very common topic for the “just don’t use x” argument to pop up in.

As I’ve said a few times now, I’m aware certain things can’t be taken away. It wouldn’t be worth it to remove flight, because the sheer amount of players who would leave over it would be devastating. In that case, the majority opinion has to be taken into account. Even if it wasn’t a majority, it would be a significant loss.
