I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is. As it stands, warrior tanks are the superior choice going into Shadowlands, as rated by Method, if I’m not mistaken.

Want more tanks? Here’s a handy guide.

1. Stop nerfing us and crying for more nerfs to us because we can out-play you.
2. Stop making our lives miserable.
3. We move at a pace we’re comfortable with because tanking is much more intimate in a dungeon and we know what we can and cannot take.
4. If a DPS is being a butt and the tank puts up a vote to kick them, kick them. I have an instant queue. You do not. I will have my way in this regard. I don’t have to take abuse from anyone, but you have to deal with a 30 minute queue.
5. If you mistreat me when I do tank, I will add you to ignore and, for other tanks, I suggest doing this. If you add someone to ignore during a random dungeon run - you will NEVER be grouped with them again. Nor any group that has them in the group. Make that wait timer go up and up until they learn and learn.

Baffles me how you can’t read dates of achievements, but I digress. You’re looking for ‘gotchas’ when there are none needed.

The thread can be summed up as:

1. Here’s how you get more tanks. Solutions.
2. People come in and say I have not tanked, thus, do not know what I am talking about.
3. I have tanked, but I do not actively main it for aforementioned reasons.
4. Accused of not having achievement dates that say otherwise. Achievement dates do say otherwise.
5. I do not tank currently, but that does not mean I have not tanked in the past.
6. Because I have tanked in the past and stopped because of aforementioned reasons (constant nerfs), players like yourself, and behavior similar to your own - that’s just proving my thread now, isn’t it?

If its the easiest faceroll role in the game then why is there a tank shortage? Wanna get that sweet IO score and phat loots…just roll as tank and loot spec to your dps spec.

See, you’re not playing a tank. Most the people who don’t play tanks talk quite a lot about how easy it is to tank when you can get almost 1k gold a dungeon when the role is needed.

If tanking was so easy, why is it hard to find a tank? Oh, right… you’re like those people who sit on the sidelines during football and shout about how easy it should have been for someone out on the field who’s actually in the thick of it.

The worst enemy you face as a tank is your own group.

LOL dude i bet you actually got vote kicked from a heroic dungeon as a tank and that fueled this very insightful and informative suggestion thread on how to increase tank numbers

Anymore being the keyword you’re looking for. Anymore. If I am posting on how to get more tanks. AKA - I’m no longer maining a tank anymore. Would I not be posting reasons that got me to quit tanking? I mean, by all means, that’s what someone who doesn’t tank anymore and who used to tank would do in response to threads asking about why there are no more tanks to go around.

I was:

A. Tired of being nerfed.
B. Having to be a janny to DPS pulling for me and hunters leaving growl on (don’t know how long it’s been since that automatically got shut off).
C. Moving at a pace I don’t want to move because of stat builds I prefer to do.

And so on.

Told you, did +8s as a tank on my Death Knight, got annoyed at group quality, certain affixes for the week, people leaving, and so on. If I do tank or if I ever feel the inclination to tank again, it’d only be for friends, never pugging again with it.

Some of us don’t have the luxury of four buttons and winning.
