i legit can’t believe someone like you exists LOL
Quite aware of my record on this character.
You’re comparing my key level to how much fun I had in the content as opposed to enjoying it. I can hit any number that I want to, it’s not a threat, a stand-off. It’s simply I do not -want- to do it. It’s boring. Some affixes are unnecessarily annoying.
Who in their right mind says, “I hate this content. I want to do more of it?” Stacking it up with tanking and putting your key up, finding out the guy from Ragnaros or Quel’thalas was boosted, and then losing your key because they can’t communicate?
idk about you guys but this hydraulics lad has been WILDIN
/thread off.
aint worth wasting my evening with, lol
You dps players…enjoy your long queues LOL
Are you really committing to this?
eh. nerfs would be good FOR tanking. As is, tanks should be responsible for threat, the pulls, the pace, cds, etc. They SHOULDN’T be the ones required to heal themselves as well outside of cds. Some healing is fine. Not needing a healer is not.
suggestions don’t mean you have to do it. Honesty goes along way.
“I don’t want to pull more.” and leave it that. If you get additional criticism, shrug it off.
no. I have done literally 1,000’s of keys between my toons. Tanks are easily the biggest divas of any of the roles. I have tanks throw a hissy fit because they lost threat on something because a players RANDOM corruption proc’ed… Like literally stop pulling to yell at someone. It’s a joke.
Man. get over yourself. This is the crap I’m talking about right now. Experience here matters and I have tons of it.
People that tank often hold groups hostage. I’m beyond over it. A tank is just another player in the group. If it’s not your key or your group you’re just as much subject to want the person hosting wants as anything. Sick of diva tanks that think they run the show are unwilling to work with the group.
Where did I say meter humping? I said being an effective DPS. I guarantee you a well played DPS is working much harder in both a raid and mythic+ environment than any tank is.
Before you answer.
You have no credibility. Nothing to show you’ve done any top level content this expansion. I’m casual as hell and I’ve done more/higher.
All you have is what you’ve done in the past, with no way to provide proof.
Yet here you are.
I am. I’ve seen the content treadmill. It’s boring. I’ve done it. Try-harding on WoW (one of the easiest MMOs in the world) is laughably bad. Add-Ons tell you what to do now, mythics are dance-dance revolution that nukes the entire group as soon as you get Oprahwindfury standing in some bad to the left, not increasing the difficulty, but just making it a gear check and punishing the entire raid for the mistakes of one glue-eater.
Tell you what, depending on the day that Shadowlands releases (as long as it’s on a Tuesday like I’d expect), I’ll be in the top 10-20 on my server on server first max level, hitting it within the first or second day, as I’ve done in expansions past.
I’ll be heroicly geared by the end of the week and already be starting on M0s. Like I also did at the start of all these expansions that started this trend. I typically stop whenever I hit raiding levels because I don’t join raiding guilds. I did temporarily and my job schedule conflicted with it like crazy, considering I do 12 hours a day.
Don’t quite agree with you here. The lack of tanks is more likely to be that outside of dungeons it generally isn’t as engaging or fun to play.
We are in a rare spot though - end of expansion power boosts mean we get to enjoy decent DPS as well as our usual tankyness.
Quite liking playing on both this Protection Paladin and Kul Tiran Bear man (though I wish I’d worked on my bear earlier as it’s far too late to bother on the cape corruption upgrades).
WOW one of the server first max levels. Shocked.
Truly inspiring.
is this legit what you replied with LOL???
Enjoy your hill OP.
All you’ve offered is excuses for every thing. Not a shred of current (as in tracked/ranked/rated) evidence.
I’m sure you got through all those tight spots with no active mitigation.
hey guys, hydraulics-moonguard here. i may not know a whole lot about fancy things like tanking and such, but what i do have is a big heart and the 20th max level on my server and i believe i have what it takes to make tanking great again
I find DPS to be more stressful than tanking.
Of all the roles, I feel tanking is the most chill. Healer is probably more stressful for me.
Anyway, I play tank/heal exclusively because I don’t have a lot of time; so I can’t wait for the queues.
It would be nice if I could spend more time on dps though, which means the tank problem needs a fix. I’ve been away too long and only recently came back, but I’m not sure abuse is something I often dealt with as a tank.
As a healer far more I get that.
You seem concerned with gear and such. Tell you what, I’ll even up this. I will tank through Shadowlands - have to go Horde for that, but, sure. No issues. Post your results on Saturday here. I’ll do the same.
I’m willing to put my money where my mouth is. As it stands, warrior tanks are the superior choice going into Shadowlands, as rated by Method, if I’m not mistaken.
Wait, you’re posting on a Demon Hunter. Everything you post is invalid.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I feel like Hydraulics isn’t posting in here quickly enough. I say we vote to kick him out of the thread, that’ll teach him to be a better poster.
I don’t understand why tanks post on the forums at all. Queues are instant, why post? Shouldn’t you be playing the game
Huge red flag tbh.
Power trippy tanks are always bad eggs.
