I’d rather kick the dude for not moving forward and wasting time over a stupid in-game dispute that will probably last the entire dungeon, nobody is going to say sorry to you for saying something mean.
Tanking in dungeons is not about doing the best run ever.
It’s about completing it.
Try your best to aggro everything your team pull, while trying to stay alive.
Try having a nice moment with complete strangers.
Be positive.

Let me guess, the dps or healer pulling extra mobs because you’re slow is considered mistreatment?
Who cares if you kick him. He did the right thing by not letting someone be disrespectful. Strength of character. Nobody cares if the dungeon is completed or not.

If you are doing M+ and are anxious about your key, don’t run it with strangers!

I feel like that’s what everyone would do since there is nothing in the game to explain these things. I doubt anyone starts fresh with a tank. These are former dps learning to tank.

Nothing is strong about wasting time arguing during the dungeon, it’s weak and shallow if anything giving some random dude you met on the internet the time of day, their goal is probably to rile them up anyways. I have instance chat turned off anyways, and as for not caring if the dungeon is completed or not. That’s the only thing I care about, I just want to get some exp while I chill in discord chatting with friends. I don’t wanna deal with petty drama.
Yeah I know when I play dps I think constantly “Well, that key group fell apart because the tank ragequit midway through, but I don’t care about that. The fact the tank went on an insane power trip is what really matters to me.”

Yeah, the tank wants to hold up time for FOUR other people that have their own agendas…
I think that abusive people deserve to have their key depleted. But I would also like to differentiate between language that is trying to inform and language that is trying to harass.

Wouldn’t happen if power trippy dps weren’t pulling ahead, worst part is that it happens more often with classes that can actually tank themselves: rets, furies and ferals.

I have a good time when I’m making big plays and get good times on my keys because everyone is doing their best. People with an ego are generally not team players and won’t see the best results.
I don’t understand why this thread exists from multiple angles because it sounds like someone’s really mad and feeling really entitled about something that they don’t do anymore, and also they think dropping group is an effective way to punish the people they didn’t like who also didn’t like them.
Try to have fun and be kind to each other and if a group isn’t working for you, find a new group. Seems like a pretty solid principle.

Nerfs wouldn’t help much. Having there be more single target damage and less random AOE damage in dungeons would.

Depends on the content, if it’s just a random LFD run and I feel more like a dps than a healer. I’m going to start pulling extra mobs to my hearts content. If it’s a high mythic key? Of course not.

You can blame pvp for nerfing Tanks . Soon as players like Swifty who miss use Prot Warrior for personal gain , Prot warrior gets nerfed .
Blizzard needs to balance Pve and Pvp when comes down to nerfing a class .
