You aren’t trying to smash some keys with big city slammers and big pumpers? That’s fun
Not a tank who think the world owes him a favorino

I mean, blood DK would fall apart if they took away all the self healing as well.
Dude have you been watching mob movies or something? No one cares about your ego and needing to feel ‘respected’.
I wish people were nice 100% of the time, but I do not see the point in throwing a tantrum and punishing three innocent people in a power trip because you want everyone to telling you how great you are all the time. It just seems super insecure. I don’t need some dps to validate me.
Very good point! There is no need to nerf players in PvE, since having strong players just makes groups stronger. It would be wonderful if they could upgrade instead of nerf! I think that getting nerfed is disappointing and unnecessary, especially if you find something fun in PvE.
No, it’s wrong no matter the content. If the tank is new you’re putting the whole group in jeopardy, if the tank is experienced you’re making grouping up mobs harder and thus slowing down the run.
Yeah man, it can actually be really fun. It’s like tanking on hard mode.
Try pulling three packs on necrotic week without being able to coordinate with your healer on a 15. You won’t need to eat fibre for weeks.
Tanks do not need nerfs rofl the reason for all tank heroic runs is because of the stacking of the 3% stamina essences plus td stacking.
I notice you aren’t saying anything about the 29 mage heroic runs that down drest without using the vuln and just burning him in 30 seconds.
Just run sphere combo it with the slow field dnd and gg.
Yeah, I mean it’s not impossible. It can just go really wrong and that’s honestly I think the most fun time when you’re tanking. It’s not a challenging role when everything is going according to plan.
Meh, I disagree, when the tank is new at the game things usually work out fine in LFD anyways it’s all super face roll. Super rare for me to see a death even when the tank is inexperienced. And if the tank is experienced and I see he is pulling I’ll let him pull .
That’s where the fun policy of you pull it you tank it comes into play. If you are geared enough it won’t be an issue if you aren’t geared enough then why are you pulling it? Exceptions are obviously decent level M+ key where I kind of have to save you.
Eh that I’d disagree with a good tank has all the responsibility of the dps plus more besides. You also tend to have to know pathing for every dungeon because god knows the dps aren’t going to have a route. Now it may have a lower floor but who the hell wants to be a bad tank.
Sorry mate.
I don’t worship the ground a tank walks upon unless they’re gods at tanking.
If you want to be treated with respect, act respectable.
Hint: Dictator tanks aren’t that respectable.
It’s stressful for a new tank. If you do that, you better be able to tank it.
Oh yeah for sure there’s a whole lot of thing you have responsibility for, but tanking is generally less technically demanding than either of the other roles. A tank who knows the fights, routes and the pulls but isn’t that great at actually playing their class will go further than a dps or a healer who knows all the fights and pulls but isn’t great at their class.
They’ve been able to pull through, granted you might be thinking I’m just pulling the whole room. I just pull a pack or two ahead and bring it to the tank. Any damage I take I almost always can just heal up. If anything most the time the tanks get more confident and start pulling a bit more anyways. It’s almost never a real issue.
Maybe up to like a 15 but past that especially on hard weeks it starts to be really obvious. Mythic past 4th or so boss on anything but a monk it becomes really obvious. Monk is definitely cruise control mode but a bad blood dk will absolutely go splat on mythic nzoth at multiple points carapace as well.
I remember this tank came in with an entire macro that was something of along the lines of “Listen I know all of you are casuals compared to me, I’ve been playing the game like classic. I am likely better than you. If you pull you tank and then you get vote kicked. Just let me carry you.” As soon as the beginning of the dungeon timer ended that tank got the fastest kick I’ve ever seen.
Blood DK is I would say the exception just because of the reactive nature of it relying on quick decision making and good reflexes. But like a warrior isn’t generally isn’t going to die if they’re a second off with their shield wall.
Nah but if they don’t shield block on bashers they will. Idk I feel like bad tanks are really noticeable as you get deeper into mythic.
Yep. /10char
