hes not a tank, he couldnt even dps well enough to time a 12 last season but oh yeah he doesnt play tank anymore because he didnt want to be the best in the world at it.

It’s kind of funny seeing a warrior who is presumably talking about prot complain about classes getting nerfed too often as well.
I mean, how many patches in a row have prot warriors been top tier?

There are cave paintings of prot warriors being really solid tanks at this point.
Except I’ve said numerous times I’m not talking about tanking on this character.
Blood DKs have gotten the nerf bat, Brewmasters have gotten the nerfbat (deservedly, mind you), and let’s not get started on the Guardian Druids (they were done dirty this expac).
If only one tank is considered viable and the best - what happens to tanks who want to play the other play styles?

you cant do it. you’ve never seen any “try-hard tier” content for the over 10 years youve been playing this game. aotc ghuun is not high end, especially getting it days before bod was released is not high end.
Brewmasters are still the strongest tanking spec.
Brewmaster, prot warrior and vengeance are all considered on-meta picks this season.
Not tanking in World of Warcraft though. And absolutely not tanking G’huun 
Not according to Method anymore. Warriors are the best going into Shadowlands it looks like. So, look for the wave of that. People gravitate to it because the best guys said it was the best.

hydraulics what character were you on when you joined that aotc learning pug the week before 8.1? i tried seeing if it was that warrior since the only reason i could assume you were invited was shout or you were a buyer. just want to see how high end you were killing the mild version of a very heavily nerfed boss
No, I’m arguing that around there, I just realized mythics were boring and I didn’t want to do them further. They’re arguing that because I didn’t want to keep doing mythics, I have no experience in tanking. -Shrug.-
I could care less about Method’s opinion about an alpha.
If people pick their class based on what some no lifers say about an in production xpac’s balance, I am not worried about competing with them.
Also, I thought you could read profiles? You’ll see that, clearly, this warrior was not present for a G’huun kill.
That’s not the issue you run into. The issue you run into is that, because they do this, there’s a ripple effect. It pretty soon turns into, “Only these classes welcome in X role,” - remember the debacle of ranged-DPS only and the over-compensation of melee DPS for it at some point? Pepper Ridge Farm remembers when warriors were blowing people up.

People definitely do make it hard to tank. I recently returned to the game about a month or two ago and I’ve been gearing up getting ready to do some mythic plus. But in the back of my mind I am dreading the experience of relearning the mechanics while being pressured by the DPS. I will be sticking to my old rule from the last time I tanked before I quit. Any amount of disrespect from anyone in the group to me or a friend I bring I immediately stop. I refuse to move until I get an apology. I don’t just leave I make an issue out of it until they learn. And if they don’t apologize then they either kick me or I leave on my own.
