Tinkers! And the problem with Goblins

We still need plate caster…I would be down for Unholy to become a melee dot class and them get a 4th spec to be more caster based… similar to Paladins getting a Shockadin spec.

You’re implying that warrior (I’m assuming you mean melee fighter/brawler esque) wearing cloth is just as ridiculous as a necromancer wearing plate. Why does a necromancer need to wear cloth? Why must they use mana? It makes sense for a melee fighter to use leather, mail, or plate as it provides some level of defense for being within melee range, but why can’t a necromancer wear plate?

Yeah My Warrior Transmogs into a Tank top and arm wraps. Not plate.

She looks badass.

You can Dress like a necromancer as a DK. And use Necromancy. I don’t get what these people want.

On the flipside. There isn’t a class that’s even remotely similar to a Tinker.

Cheers to hoping for a tinker. I’d be all over that

It’s called engineering. You would be killing an entire profession. Want to be a tinkerer just be an engineer.

Yo? There’s Class Engineering? Where? How to I make one?

Oh you mean the profession!
That’s not a class. I expect you to be smart enough to understand that.
But clearly you think Someone who raises the dead to fight for them isn’t a Necromancer.

Engineering doesn’t give you any of the Tinker abilities from Warcraft 3.

Professions are dead.

Engineering cant summon turrets, use mechsuits in combat, shrink rays to exhaust enemies or Freeze rays to “cyclone” enemies. Tinker has so much potential.

Funny you mention warcraft 3, as both the necromancer and the death knight was a thing in Warcraft 3. And the necromancer wore cloth, and use spells weird.

I appreciate you saying that. Really I do.

This is probably True, but they could keep it generic.
The A.M.O.D Mech suits from BFA aren’t race specific for example.

AND GUESS WHAT GENIUS
ALL OF THEIR ABILITIES ARE ON DEATH KNIGHT IN RETAIL WOW

You played yourself.

Death Knight,Tinker and Goblin Alchemist were hero units.

necromancer was an solider unit… like meat wagon or troll beserker.

Well, i jumped on my Alliance Gnome Warrior lady to test the barbershop options in Ironforge and to spam trade about the Dark Lady. In the barbershop, there is a Goblin lady…

WHY!!
TRAITORS!!!
TRAITORS EVERYWHERE!!!

I reported that barber Goblin to the Dark Lady.
It was a sad moment…

Wrong.

Necromancer Adept Training
Increases mana capacity by 100, mana regeneration rate by 30%, hit points by 40, and gives them the ability to cast Unholy Frenzy.

!Necromancer Master Training
Further increases mana capacity by 100, mana regeneration rate by 30%, hit points by 40, and gives them the ability to cast Cripple.

Note, Mana.

If they don’t even use the same resources, it’s not the same class.

Raise Dead.
It’s on Death Knight

Unholy frenzy.
It’s on Death Knight.

Necromancer = Death Knight.

Paladins also didn’t have Holy Power and Shamans didn’t have maelstrom, on top of all the other things that have changed. WC3 is a nice suggestion but it isn’t the rule.

Shrink Ray is on Engineering

rockets also on enginering

Engineering = Tinkerer.

Goblins are Neutral and have been since before the 1st War.

Not a Tinker ability

Not on current engineering.

Dude i get you’re angry but at least get your facts straight. Lol.
Level your head and do a few google searches before you break your keyboard.

Current engineering can throw 1 bomb on a 5 minute cooldown.
That’s not a Tinker.
A Tinker would use Mechs, Rocket barrages, and Pocket factories.

Lets add to the fact the only WC3 hero units not represented are Tinker and Goblin Alchemist. Both of these units would get represented through the Tinker class.

You know there is no rule that states two classes can’t share some of the same abilities. Otherwise Shamans and Mages would both get some changes. Just because they make design changes doesn’t mean it was because of those classes. They simply changed it because it didn’t really fit the warlocks in the first place.

Yes! very easily in fact.
Make the Healer specialization fire potions. Maybe you can Shoot allies for healing, and shoot enemies for Damage. Like the Crossbow in Tf2

Yes. But Necromancy does fit Death Knight. and Has since their inception.

In Warcraft 3, The Death Knight Hero could raise the dead, and empower nearby undead.

That’s why in WoW, the Death Knight can raise the Dead, and empower nearby undead. You can even heal your undead pets with Death Coils.
