And have cyborg pets you can collect like hunter pets. But instead of taming things, you kill them and use engineering mats and tinker/necro abilities to bring them back. And instead of worrying about other players killing the rare you’re trying to tame, you just have to hope they can’t skin the rare you’re trying to resurrect…
At least it’s better than Bard.

Stein from Soul Eater could kick some butt, especially wielding Death Scythe.
Mechagon and gnomes would make a tinker class make sense. Entire gnome story says tinker class is a bit past due, but maybe they figured engineering profession was all they needed. Edit: and while tinker may not be a class I get into, I’ll try it. Tons of other classes I never got into either, but wouldn’t deprive other players of those.
Makes me wonder if blizzard will remove engineering profession later, like they removed first aid this expac and have no archaeology sites in shadowlands expac.

Tinkering is something your retired grandpa does in his garage to get away from his wife. Not something an adventurer does while saving the world.
What? There are Tinker adventurers and fighters in WoW. Don’t compare a video game to real life.

Tinker stands out from Bard and Necromancer. If there’s going to be a new class, it’s definitely tinker.

Also, that’s not all they COULD do.
Missiles, turrets, gunplay, a mech suit for tanking, bandage guns, nanobots.
You’re just not a creative sort. Leave this to people that actually have some creative minds.

Yeah, that’s why we already have a class that raises and empowers the dead. It’s called “death knight”
There’s a Hero unit in Warcraft 3. It builds “pocket factories” which are basically turrets. It fires missiles, and it can even tank in a Mech suit.
So that’s what people want tinkers to do.
Hunter doesn’t do any of that.
Hunter is themed around Nature and Archery. One spec has one bomb. That doesn’t make them tinkers.
