What happens when a paladin doubts his faith? What about a warrior pulling a muscle? or a rogue losing their tools?
Heck you can silence a mage or priest even. The Tinker will still be smarter.
Good thing there’s no new class being introduced for the next couple expansions, as Activision/Blizzard feels it’s too much effort, and with too little payout.
If they didn’t have the blood sucking suits from Bobby’s marketing team on their backs, they definitely would throw in a Tinker class, whether or not the plot demanded it.
I’m torn between bard and tinker, both are super hyped by the wow community and I have no idea why, both sound awfully boring and uninteresting…
Tinker is based off Of Warcraft 3, Just like every other class in the game. That’s why people want it.

Add rune master as it was intended from the get go. Or shadow hunter, necromancer, brawler , barbarian, moon warrior, death metal singer, bard, miner, farmer, anything but tinkers!
Such as? And the tinker-like things we see in game now don’t throw smoke bombs or grenades btw. They set up turrets and use mechs.
Surv hunters throw granades and had traps, if you use a mechagnome surv hunter you have a half tinker the other half is engineering and looks

Funny, the gazlowe team in islands don’t even remotely look like survival hunters with engineering.
Add turrets to engineering, and you got it.
I am not that on wagon for clases that relies on gizmos, tbh. But i wouldnt mind if they make engineering sonething unique, we already have some basic concepts of tinkering, blizz only need to put some love into it

Tinker aka Artificer can do Tanking, Damage as Ranged and Melee as well as Healing.

Even bard could fit into the roll of Melee DPS, Tank and Healer. Not saying these cannot be boring classes but let me call out some of the current classes that are boring.
