The last thing WoW will ever need is another class.
The developers already have a hard enough time trying to balance and fix the classes in the game.

This coming from the home-made vanilla ice cream of classes in any rpg ever lol.
aww, how cute. someone’s mad so they start out by resorting to name calling to begin with…
sounds like you should go play wc3 then.
i guess you were mad, being that was part of a response to some fool claiming only mages enchant because of " ‘arcane magic’ and tinkers should have engineering."
i have no idea who you are much less where you came from… and honestly couldn’t care less for that matter so bye-bye.
Or shadow hunter, necromancer, brawler , barbarian, moon warrior, death metal singer, bard, miner, farmer, anything but tinkers!
The only one of these that had a Hero In Warcraft 3 was Shadow Hunter, and you can Already use all of the Shadow Hunter abilities in game. (except big bad Voodoo)
sounds like you should go play wc3 then.
I’d rather play the MMO they made based on Warcraft 3. It’s called “World of Warcraft”
That’s why all the classes in “World of Warcraft” are based on this game called “Warcraft”
I mean… It’s literally in the title.
I am not that on wagon for clases that relies on gizmos, tbh. But i wouldnt mind if they make engineering sonething unique, we already have some basic concepts of tinkering, blizz only need to put some love into it
You realizes that they can’t put an entire class into a profession, right?
You realize that would make that one profession overly useful compared to other professions?
It’s not a like a Profession can provide legitimate class abilities that appear in your spellbook.
No, Sectioning the Tinker class off to a profession is a bad idea. That’s why Engineering has been so limited for the longest time.
Surv hunters throw granades and had traps, if you use a mechagnome surv hunter you have a half tinker the other half is engineering and looks
Lol. Please do your research. The “Tinker” hero in WC3 could build pocket factories (which are functionally sentry guns), Tank in a mech suit, and fire missiles.
A Survival hunter does none of those things… And neither does the engineering profession.
That’s why Survival hunters are called Survival hunters, and not Tinkers.
The actual Tinkers we find on island expeditions can Tank in a Mech suit, Fire missiles, build turrets, and even heal. That’s why they’re tinkers
Demon Hunter
There is this cool feature on demon hunter that allows you to jump A SECOND TIME! then Jump AGAIN in order to slow fall. You even get some wicked wings to boot! Sorry you couldn’t figure out the best class.
The last thing WoW will ever need is another class.
This has been said since TBC whenever someone suggested a new class. The game will never ever be truly balanced. Blizzard couldn’t truly balance one class. So that’s really not a reason. Not adding a new class won’t allow them to better balance the existing classes.
Bard
Or Timewarper with some connection to Bronze dragonflight powers would be cool. Tailors already met time weave tailors on a quest.

When tinkerer’s comes out, and hears about bards being “cooler” then them;

I dont see nobody asking for a goblin riding and ogre and throwing poisons and elixirs , or people asking for playable firelords.
Tinkers as not a full class, could make a great addition to engeneering. Blizz has fear because if they do something good on profession people will not do their content.
But if tou add turrets, grenade dispensers and s 2 min mecha that buff you in engeneering, would make it a more comoelling proffession, and they would no have to make an entire class work for it

That’s because you frequently see Tinkers in modern WoW.
People see NPC’s doing these cool things and they want to play as those cool things.
Tinkers as not a full class
They could be. That’s the point of the thread.

You can’t just make a professionn that powerful. Can you imagine if Engineering gave you tanking cooldowns? It would be must pick for every guild just to have tankier dps.
and they would no have to make an entire class work for it
The logic behind people wanting tinkers, is built on the idea that Blizzard has already started working on them.
Island Expedition teams have abilities with Cool downs and level requirements. they clearly have 3 specs
I knew I reserved the name Tinkerbell years ago for a reason. One day that reason will be realized.
But if tou add turrets, grenade dispensers and s 2 min mecha that buff you in engeneering, would make it a more comoelling proffession, and they would no have to make an entire class work for it
Let me correct this:
Adding things like that to engineering would result in the following:
A: Make engineering powerful that everyone pushing M+s would change to engineering on the spot
B: They would be nerfed into the ground immediately afterwards and these items becoming useless
We cannot get the idea of “Being a tinker ala the WC3 tinker” combined with “The tinker stuff is your main way of damage” as long as engineering is a profession. The only way to replicate that playstyle is a class

Fundamentally, classes are the way you experience the games content. Not professions.
I’ve seen npcs in every expansion experiencing the world with Technology as their forefront.
I want to do that too. But unfortunately blizzard wont let me. Yet.
Ok fine just bring in tinkers already. You have 5 minutes.
HAHAHA! I WIN!
Tinkers are not lame. Fact.
Thank you, Vulpera Warlock.
I’d rather have necromancer.
Still super boring for me. It’s just a Warlock but with more summons or Unholy DK with more summons or something.
Not unique enough.
Agreed, if people really want to play a tinker, well survival hunter is right there waiting for you.
Survival hunter doesn’t have a single ability from the “Tinker” hero in Warcraft 3.
No mech suit, no turrets, no missiles.
Not one.
Do some research before you just start barfing words onto the forums
grenades tho
