Necromancers are part of the Diablo universe. The Priests of Rathma are a big deal.
Necromancers in the WoW universe are different. In Warcraft 3 they’re practically just worse death knights
Other Players are basic. and want things from generic fantasy.
But this is Warcraft. Warcraft is unique, and so we should embrace its unique aspects.

Mech Pilots in the Naga Steamvaults and the Mechannar.
Draenei Artificers, and Blood Elves that stole the powers of Draenei Artificers.
Mechagnomes, Mimron, and titan facilities all throughout Wrath, along with more quests involving goblins and shredders.
Literally everything that happened on Kezan.
Massive fleets of flying machines and airships built by Tinkers.
The Iron Horde?
A Tinker, Thaelin Darkanvil destroyed the Dark portal.
Orc and Goblin Technicians on outland
The Felsteel mech at HFC
Gelbin mechatorque fighting the legion in a mech
Gazlowe fighting the legion in a mech
Gelbin Mechatorque and Gallywix having an arms race involving mechs.
An entire freaking raid boss battle
an entire freaking ISLAND in BFA.
Island Expedition teams of Tinkers. I didn’t see any Necromancers there, did you?
IDK why the concept of a tinker is so hard to grasp for so many. 3 specs could be, melee dps, ranged dps, and ranged heals. you could drop a “turret” like shamans drop totems, you could heal, but instead of the light, you’re shooting darts of concentrated medicine or something. Use your imaginations lol.
I mostly just want a tech healer to be entirely honest. (Operative from swtor if anyone has played it)
I just wish we could use swords as spellblades are more focused on swords while enha shamans is primarily mace though they can use axe too. Shaman is very spiritual compared to a spellblade/arcane warrior. Yes magically enhanced melee is very spellblade but other than that they are nothing like spellblades. The totems right away take away from spellblade theme. I’d rather shamans get a heavier focus on totems (I’m really sad at their diminished use over time). And spellblade be completely different but hey no wc3 equivalent so won’t happen. Even tho they exist as npcs in wow.
Look. I would kill for playable dark rangers where they use “charm” to tame humanoids how how hunters tame pets. I woud love that so much. In any case dark rangers are almost identical to hunters except that they tend to wear leather. They’re also an undead exclusive class. Well now night elves I suppose. After Sylvanas yeeted herself did the undead night elves go back to the alliance or stay on the horde?
I’m seeing many boring people with no imagination here.
Tinker would be super funny and easily fits all roles:
A ranged spec using guns, explosives and controling robots
A healer spec using heal devices and drones.
The best one: A tank spec using a meka, like mekkatorque. Using magnetism and electricity as shields and CC. The Meka design changes for each race.
Tinker class could use a mech suit, duel wield pistols, and introduce a new ranged class…all things players have been asking for for years. It might also be the only class represented by racial leaders (two now) that’s not playable.
