Ok it took a lot of back and forth with GMs who can’t read a simple question but now I know for sure.
This character, the one not getting the TW quest items, is a boost. I was convinced it wasn’t but I was wrong.

Possibly related: I have some characters who do not receive sparks from pvp, crests from rated pvp, crests from delves, or the timewalking weekly item.
I have other characters who receive all of the above, as intended.
Of course it’s my favorite alts who are permabugged.
It’s now Legion timewalking week and, sadly but predictably, this character is still not receiving the quest item from the timewalking dungeons.
You can even finish one this week lol?? They’ve been bugged for me on a few characters, loot and perma-stuck
The fix can’t be that complicated. Seriously. There is obviously some convoluted coding logic that was created to restrict the drop of this quest in certain circumstances.
From following these threads, the bug seems to have begun when the 20th anniversary started. Therefore, the restrictive code was either created or already existing restrictions were altered. REMOVE THAT STUPID CODING. Pull up your coding backup for this quest pre-20th anniversary and reinstate that. The end.

This is still an issue. The affected characters also don’t get loot from The Great Vault for doing Timewalking.
How is this still not fixed. They add a ton of rewards and now the currency is essentially un-farmable. This is just incompetence at this point.

Not dropping for me either. A very helpful GM told me that the item drops from the last boss of the dungeon and wont drop if it is already in your bank/s
I have been doing this for 3 weeks so thats 1500 badges lost and it doesnt look like it will be fixed anytime soon
Thank you for saying this because I was wondering if maybe this was the issue, I was on my little baby hunter just now and it didn’t drop (my DK got the drop yesterday but was over level 45)
Only one of my characters is affected, and it is a boosted character.

I file a ticket weekly, they aren’t very helpful on the first go around. Then you have to remind them it’s a bug and they’re like, oh yeah, you’re SoL.
Bumping the thread, since having the same issue with the past 3 Timewalking event with the quest item not dropping.
second week in a row and the same toon did not get the quest item 
How long has this been broken? Four weeks? Five weeks?

Also wanted to bump this. 3 week in a row, myself and my guildmates aren’t getting the 500-badge quest item.

I first noticed it during BC Timewalking so… nov 5th at least.
Adding nothing new but i’m also experiencing this issue on two of my characters (both of which were boosted) i’m not sure if this has always been the case but certainly nothing since the latest timewalking event started, i have checked banks etc and have no quest items which could be causing the issue. i really hop this gets fixed soon.

Same, still not fixed with some troons not getting quest item
As of January 28th, new week, no quest item drop on first dungeon.
I 100% do not have any timewalking quest token on any alts. This has been going a while now with no fix.
