This was my preferred method of levelling through SL and DF and now? I can’t be bothered. I actually thought TW was in a pretty good place in DF.
And on top of that the TW badge weekly quest was nerfed for really no reason. Now I’m unafected (~300K badges) but this hurts newer players for really no rason. And, no, the fact that the currency is Warbound doesn’t mitigate this.
I’m honestly about ready to check out until 11.2 (like Remix return) or the 12.0 prepatch to level my toons from 70-80 because there’s nothing I want to do to level my alts currently. I’ve listed some of my issues previously.
For context, I have 125 level 70+ toons. I think I had 50 a year ago. 10.2 (including Remix) will go down as one of the greatest patches in WoW’s history IMHO. It’s astounding to me how far 11.0 has fallen immediately afterwards.
Maybe I’ve misunderstood but I level my alts during TW weeks. I did two this week including one at 13 to 80 in about five hours. And the nerf to badges is because you can now trade them via warbands. Had they not it would have ruined the value of them and the items being offered in the big anniversary event.
Yep! I had 64 level 70’s in DF. Always level in timewalking. With the new 25% XP buff for having 5 level 80’s - I am only getting 130xp per mob on a level 74 vs 1100xp in a normal dungeon per mob. Decided it isn’t worth doing.
story of tww in a nutshell. front to back.
main protaganist…ruined.
main antagonist…probably the only interesting thing.
story…idk didnt read it too enraged by the first point to even care about it.
prepatch event…handled poorly.
early access-lots of people who got in basically got a fast track to leveling 80s.
the zones-okay these are fine except for ringing deeps.
dungeons-doing a cata 2.0 and basically turning heorics into mythics and telling the less skilled to go away.
guild bank fiasco where they ended up deleting entire guild banks by accident and werent able to fully restore them. no compensation given. other than a bp style “WE’RE SORRY.”
